A winner is me, making this the first Tower Defense I actually ever beat.

The start is actually really tricky, downing those first two planes without neglecting the infantry took me more than a couple of tries.

Nice to hear everything actually nicely audioed (like, turrets fireing -etc-), played too many dead silent games recently.

Also comforting to see someone else do something "army related" for the jam.

Was a breath of freshair to all the platformers. Rewind mechanic in the game was done well. Struggled in the beginning until i got the rewind down. There should be a limit to how much to use it though, was too easy late game.

Only major critisim really is the sound becomes unbearable when you have a lot of missle turrets :D.

With some good polish this game could be really good

  • Upgradable turrets
  • Able to sell turrets
  • Background music

Good job

Interesting idea, and towards the end I found myself using the rewind button a lot, so it didn't feel like a feature added on last minute so that it would fit the theme. It does feel a little bit limited in strategy, as I was using the same towers early game and late game. Something that would be really helpful is if the health was displayed on the enemy as well as how much damage each tower does. Overall, I found it to be a short but enjoyable game. Nice job!

Lmao the text at the end actually made me laugh, I love it! I actually just finished making a 3D tower defense game before the jam started, you should check it out. I like that after a certain point you can just keep rewinding and farm a ton of money. I would love to see some upgrades or some different maps but I understand the constraints of the game jam. Nice job and keep up the good work!

Cool idea.

I was a bit reluctant to use the rewind button, as it cost quite a bit of power, which meant it felt like I'm wasting money that I could've spent on permanent upgrades (new towers).

The level is also quite small, and the planes and characters moves quite quickly and it's insta-death. The result is that mistakes happen easily (at least for my skill level), and the punishment felt too harsh. Maybe adding lives, increasing the size of the level or reducing enemy speed would have helped?

Once I got it the rewind was really nice. I really would have enjoyed more levels.
