Wow, the 3d seems to be very well executed. but i agree with Iwday, adding a shadow system like in mario 64 would be a nice touch. dont know how to do that but it would be nice. love the look and rewind feature.

Nice game! At first I didn't realize i can use mouse look, and was about to quit LOL.
The mechanics of the game works really fine, except sometimes I rewind the fallen platforms and they didn't come back, specially in that last level, the one full of droids in the center. Man... that level is HAAARD! But I love challenges! With some tweaking on the jumping, I think the game has potential for much more levels. One suggestion: the player should jump were the cam is pointing, not use the player's inertia. Sometimes it's weird to jump to were it suppose to jump, and watch the little robot jumping diagonal of that direction (fell hundreds of times from the platforms cause that issue)
But as I said, tweaking those minor things, the gameplay is fun, and the difficult ramp fair.
Congratulations!
It is pretty cool to use the rewind effect in order to avoid the enemy robot. It’s also a nice concept to have a limited amount of your rewind ability, so the player has to decide wisely of when the right time to use it is.
The backgrounds look nice with the floating cubes and the simple grey and blue palette; it really seems to match the palette of the robots.
It’s hard to tell where my character is standing, perhaps you could try implementing a projector shadow that behaves similarly to Mario’s shadow in Super Mario 64? This way I can always tell where my character is going to land when it’s jumping.
The audio effects are a bit too loud and a bit too extreme for what they’re being used for. The rewind sound is so bass-boosted it’s hard to listen to. It also sounds like an entire avalanche is occurring whenever a simple block starts falling down.
The jumping didn’t feel too responsive when I’m trying to bunnyhop on the section of the falling cubes. It felt like I had to wait a second before I was allowed to jump again, which made the platforming feel restricted.
The movement feels very stiff; I can’t change my directional velocity when my character is jumping. Because of this, there were many times where if my movement velocity midair was too slow or fast, even by just a few milliseconds, I was done for. Since the controls are so stiff, the platforming sections just feel like you have to repeat the steps: stop, turn, jump, in to ensure you don’t die from not being able to control how you move midair.
There was some sort of tip that appeared about time, but it disappeared after 1 second so I couldn’t get a chance to read it.
Great game jam entry! The graphics are great and it really fits the concept! The only thing that bothers me is, when having mutiple screens, the cursor isn't locked inside the game so it just moves outside of the game window, which is a bit annoying. Except that, good job! (rated)
Nice! The graphics are stunning and the audio is spot on. Also, I love the animations. The player movement feels nice, but I would suggest adding a grace period for the player after he falls off a platform in which he can still jump. Jonas Tyroller has an awesome video on that.
All in all, well done!
Good job! The controls seems a bit weird to me, especially the jumps. I was thinking that maybe allowing the player to move while jumping would help a bit, but I'm not entirely sure. Anyway, it's a good game very pleasing visually! Keep up the good work!
Hey! so sadly I cannot rate your game as it is a .rar file. If you would be willing to send me a .zip file, I can play it, but since I do not have WinRAR installed I can't extract it.
Wow, you actually made the game I first thought about making, 3d platformer with rewinding falling objects.
Nice base for a puzzle platformer. Some harsh controls at the beginning, but I end up getting them. The robot is really cute.
This is a very strong base for a pretty interesting puzzle platformer. It took me a little while to find the keyboard key to press to rewind time so maybe in a post-jam version you may want to add a tutorial section or controls list but I still had fun playing this one. I hope this feedback is helpful!
Nice and polished game. The controls are a little bit clumsy, but overall game feels great. Like your implementation of the rewind mechanics.
Nice game, it looks really cool. I really like the aesthetic with the floating blocks, it looks great!
The rewind mechanic also works well.
My only problem is the jumping, which feels a bit finicky. I suspect that's due to there being no air control. There have also been a couple of times where I walked straight of the edge, while I'm pretty sure pressed space on time. So either I suck at video games, or you might want to look into coyote time :D
I'd really appreciate it if you would have a look at my game as well, and be sure to download the smaller version.
I like that your game starts easy and gets harder and harder. The sounds give great feedback and the levels just look amazing.
I´ve submitted a local multiplayer game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722755. I would be happy to get your feedback on it. :-D
