In what way does your game fit the theme?
Player has a skill that makes the enemies rewinded by using limes by pressing 'R'. (10 limes required)
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
yes. everything was made while jam just by myself. except a little movement script that i wrote for another game before.
a bit hard tho...

Hmmm...I did not get this one. I move so fast that I can just ran past the enemies and, other than what appears to be me losing health, no matter how much I pressed 'R' I did not see anything that look like the enemies were getting rewinded. I did like that you added a save state because I exited the game to read the instructions again in case I missed something and when I went back in again I continues from the last level I was in. :)
Thanks for your feedback! Firstly, you need to have 10 limes to have enemies rewinded. For this, I am planning to add a tutorial when the jam ends. Secondly, for 'moving so fast' and another feedback about movement I saw, thankfully, now I know that there are problems about player movement. I will change it as it is slower as how you expected as soon as possible. Glad to hear you liked that there is a save state :) Thanks!
A nice game :) Some things were missing though, that would make a great addition to the game:
- Music and sounds (I didn't hear anything. I even had to test my headphones to make sure that they worked).
- It felt like I was moving on ice. It was hard to control, and I often ended up "sliding" into the enemies. For this kind of games, I prefer snappy movement, where the player can 100% feel and control the player.
- And maybe make that the player needs to defeat all the enemies before reaching the finishing line (because now I could just run through the enemies and complete the level)
Additionally, better graphics and animations would also be cool, but I think first it is important to focus on these three things above :)
wow! I didn't really expect to see that much versatile interpretation here. Thanks a lot for your feedback. It really made me understand a lot about the mistakes made in the game.
As for an explanation, I don't really know about music and sounds, also have a lack of knowledge about player movement and using Blender. But no excuse accepted! I will definitelly work on it!
I will focus on these missing things. Thanks!
Nice little game! With a bit of polish and some more play testing this could be a really satsifying little hack and slash. I mostly completed the levels by just completely ignoring the enemies and just running to the goal so maybe you could make it so you have to defeat a certain percentage of the enemies before the player can win. Good submission!
I totally suck at your game. That is me, not you! ;-) Great submission. Liked the feel.
Could you please play and rate my game as well?
Nice concept indeed! It would be more clear if the healthbar was green and went over to red, that it is indeed your healthbar! Good job overall :)
I couldn't get the rewinding to work at all, and I found that zooming past all the enemies was a much better strategy anyway :/
Thanks for your feedback! For rewinding, you need 10 limes. And for limes you need to hit enemies. Now I think that I should add a counter or something for counting how many limes you need to rewind. But actually I have already written "*// Requires 10 limes." on the game page. Anyways thank you a lot for your feed back again. I will add a counter asap.
