Amazing game idea. I didn’t played it completely but it lacks a good tutorial. I had to figure out that I’m suppose to rewind bullet to kill them and not kill them by just shooting. Interesting game though.
Really great visuals and awesome atmosphere. I really enjoyed the game. The mechanics were very unique and the controls also felt very good to play around with. I have really no negative comment to give.
Could you please take the time to rate my game too? Its not as good as yours but I would be highly grateful if you rated it.
Very cool concept! I felt like a master of deception rigging the dugeons with bullet traps, then luring the monsters into a corner to activate them (although half of the time I would set a trap on myself cause I'm trash). It was fun, great job on the graphics too! I hope you plan on expanding this :D
I really like the mechanic but I don't really know why to use it over just regular shooting. the art is fantastic as well as the atmosphere the game gives off. good job!
Great visuals. Liked the way you implemented the theme. Solid entry, well done!
I played through most of it without having to rewind. Was really fun. Liked the art work as well. Great submission!
Could you please play and rate my game as well?
I am having fun with the rewind bullet mechanic. Really useful for trapping the enemies. Just little feedback, It would be good and more challanging if add the melee attack enemies. Overall Really fun and creepy game :D
The game is really spooky but lovable at the same time !! I played 2-3 levels without even worrying about the rewind mechanism, I mean the game at some point feels so intense that i felt that shooting enemies while doing a peekaboo is the best ideas. Well the heart skips a beat where there are enemies more than the bullets and come to you in horde !! I would really like to know what path finding algorithm was used to make the movement so great !! The game is polished and feels so great !! Loved it and spooked very much !! Very good game !!
Well packaged theme and execution! The bullet rewind gave me some laughs when I killed myself with them. Nice touch. Great work.
Nice work on the bullet rewind mechanic! I've seen that done many times this game jam and you pulled it off the best!
Really nice game. I love the graphics, sound. and the idea of moving away from the bullet when rewinding. The only suggestion I have is making it more apparent that you lost health. Other than that, awesome game!
This game was quite good. The rewinding bullet mechanic was very unique, the atmosphere was solid and the gameplay, while occasionally frustrating, was very rewarding (I especially appreciated the availability for depth with rewinding many bullets at once). I honestly can't think of many critiques for this game, for it was very solid, though I did feel that this game might benefit from leaning more into its horror/creepy elements, for while the atmosphere was unmatched, the gameplay didn't fully reflect the atmosphere. Though I don't know if I would call this a critique, probably just a suggestion for the future. Good job!
It's tough to say how exactly the horror theme could be emphasized here (outside of the general atmosphere from the art and audio, which already support this quite well), especially since the gameplay revolves around strategically killing the game's creatures somewhat frequently, which somewhat decreases the creatures' intimidation factor (which is something that I wouldn't want to suggest tampering with too much, because this gameplay also provides a decent amount of potential for mechanical depth, especially when multiple creatures could potentially be dealt with at once through strategically firing bullets and timing the rewind correctly). A few ideas come to mind for how to balance mechanical depth and atmospheric tension (though keep in mind I'm speaking purely from speculation, not experience, and so I could very well be wrong). Perhaps the player could be further incentivized to avoid getting noticed by the creatures (and potentially even hiding from the creatures if the need arose?), which could perhaps strengthen both strategy and creature intimidation. Uncertainty/tension could also be increased through potentially creating different types of creatures or through finding ways to further emphasize the dark. Though, again, this is just speculation. The current gameplay is very solid, and so I mainly only recommend these ideas if you wish to emphasize horror in this game.
Good game! I didn't understand how rewinding the bullets worked until a while. On that note, it makes me want to avoid utilizing the rewind feature since the bullets can also kill me. It felt like (intentional?) punishment for missing in the first place of my horrible aiming skills, but neat mechanic nonetheless! That's amazing that you made all the art graphic! Please check out our game too if you can, leave a comment and rate!
Really cool game, rewind mechanic was a bit confusing at first, but after few tries i understood how it works
Hey, nice atmosphere in this game and good shading, it's stunning, but just one thing that ruined my personal experience: commands you can only play with D, A, W, S, as if everyone have a qwerty keyboard and i'm using azerty one... Each time you make a game try to make it comfortable to any player. But it's good!
