In what way does your game fit the theme?
You don't have enough time to escape the forest and thus, have to rewind time in order to get out.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?

A very mysterious game (both because of the cover image and the gameplay). At first I thought that these dark figures are ghosts that will kill me. I understood what's going on after third rewind and the idea is brilliant. I also like the GB graphics.

Really great mechanic, could be turned to a pure puzzle game with more levels instead of a big level. but really great game.

This game looks really cool and i like how the ghost mechanic. I think this game could use checkpoint because if rewinding while having made some progress feels kinda annoying having to walk all the way back. Great game!

Really loved the aesthetics and the idea behind the game! As it was pointed before, audio would really add up to the atmosphere of the game. Still, a very solid entry, good job!

Fun idea for the theme. Initially I was confused but it became clear after some experimentation. Not a huge fan of having to restart back to the beginning and trying to get slightly more progress, but I think with sound effects and more visuals it could become an awesome experience. Overall well done!

Thank you for playing my game. I did initially plan on adding a fast forward mechanism but had to cut it out due to time constraints.

Interesting horror game, I like the spirit helper concept and the puzzle element! The premise and story is also interesting and has potential for expansion.

I think there should be some indication/tutorial that your spirit friends are helping you flip switches, as I initially thought they didn't do anything, and I was confused (at first).

Also, you should try putting in some form of music/sounds, a soundless game is very jarring and would affect your score in the Audio department. You don't have to make it yourself, just grab some free music online or use a software like sfxr to generate sounds. If you know what you are doing, it is possible to do it in like 15 mins, lol.

Other than that, good job on the game!

I loved it! The whole thing was very cool, but there was no sound.. Was this me or does the game actually have no sound?

p.s play my game if you want

Clever take on the theme! The idea of a puzzle/adventure game where you have to juggle different routes and actions to help yourself later is very unique. I think the game could have benefited from a fast forward button so that there's less standing around waiting for your ghosts to catch up in subsequent runs, but otherwise I really liked it!

Your ghost system is very unique!

I love the ghost system! The art style is awesome, gives me lots of nostalgia for my old Gameboy when I was a kid. One thing I can say is it would be cool if the sign reading was consistent with the rest of the style. Overall it's really cool though. I got a reallly creepy suspenseful vibe too at the signs early on.

Developer(+1)

I totally agree with you. The signs were originally meant to be a placeholder till I could make some custom ones but I ran out of time. The creepy suspenseful vibe was also intentional but I didn't get to finish the full story.

Wow, a pretty beautiful game, at the beginning I was not understanding what I have to do but then I realized that you have to use your "ghosts" to move the levers and cross closed routes. I love the art and how you used the mechanics.

I wonder how many ghosts you can record.

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play my game. You can actually record an infinite number of ghosts as there is no coded limit on how many you can have.
