Thank you for playing my game. I did initially plan on adding a fast forward mechanism but had to cut it out due to time constraints.

I loved the retro graphics and the overall art style and design for the enemies. They were really simple but fit in really well with the neon vhs aesthetic of the 80's. I do think that maybe the difficulty curve, with the yellow cubes is a bit rough as they move really slowly so its hard to get them to line up. Other than that, it's a great game.

Could you try mine?

The rewind mechanic is fantastic. The addition of the metal boxes and the platforms really adds heaps to the lvl design while still feeling really intuitive. I just wish that there was a way to playback what you recorded.

It's hard to believe that this is a jam game. The movement, animation, art and everything just feel extremely polished. I really love the concept of the game and hope that you continue working on it after the jam ends.

This is hands down one of the best jam games I've ever played. I love the fact that you can scroll through the recordings. The art, sound design, movement, and the playback mechanic all felt extremely polished and were a joy to use. There is also a nice variety in the levels and the pause mechanic makes it so that you don't have to make your minions wait at a button for extended periods at a time. I just wish that you could rewrite parts of the recording. For example you could pause the recording half way through re-record everything after that.

The game's art style and sound design are amazing. They add a really nice cartoony vibe to the game. I would recommend lowering the enemies health a bit tho as having more than 2 enemies spawn next to you makes it almost impossible to get away without being hit at least once.

The animation on both the player and the enemies is amazing. The player movement was a bit floaty and the circle colliders on the feet probably weren't the best choice but it's fine. If you were to continue working on the game, I would recommend that you use the raw input to control the player in order to give it a more snappy feel and add a 2d physics material with a a high friction value if the slipping persists.

I'd appreciate it if you could leave me some feedback on my game. https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/724929

The gameplay and the sound design were completely on point. The movement felt really nice and responsive and the fireball's automatic recall made for a really nice balancing act in the later stages. The levels had a fair bit of variety and the game as a whole was extremely fun to play.

I totally agree with you. The signs were originally meant to be a placeholder till I could make some custom ones but I ran out of time. The creepy suspenseful vibe was also intentional but I didn't get to finish the full story.

It's a neat game but the difficulty curve is a bit rough. The controls also flip when after the first stage making it extremely hard to control the player. It would also be nice to have a pointer to where you're supposed to go. Overall though, once you get used to it, it's really nice!

I'd also appreciate it if you could rate my game too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/724929

Thanks in advance.

No problem. Would you mind trying my game too?

The game feels extremely polished for something made in just a week. The graphics are downright amazing and the game is really fun to play. The post processing effects can feel like a bit much though.

Thank you!

Thank you. I really appreciate it man!

I really like the concept of having to rewind each of the tapes before putting them away. The game quickly becomes hectic as more and more customers line up making the whole thing feel really immersive. I do wish that there was some end goal though like an 8 hr work shift where you have to deal with as many customers before your shift ends in order to get more money.

I'd also appreciate it if you could leave some feedback.

I love the retro look and the option to boost the bleeding effect and the glow effect. The sound design also really compliments the retro feel of the game. I do think that you could have done a bit more with the rewind mechanic though.

I made a short adventure game based on the gameboy color pallete.

I'd also appreciate if you guys could leave some feedback on the game as this is my first game jam.

Thanks in advance!!!

No problem man!

That makes a lot more sense. It can lead to a negative feedback loop though where players who make a mistake are further punished with an increased difficulty leading them to make more mistakes.

Thank you!

No problem!

I really liked the concept of having to rewind time to gain access to certain objects along with the hull breaches. I will agree with others though that the difficulty curve was a bit rough. I didn't actually see the cube in the first level till my third try. It would be massively helpful if you could highlight objects of importance or simply use a brighter color scheme to draw attention towards them like with mirror's edge.

The game is very well done and feels nice to play. I didn't actually realize that I needed to switch rooms until my third playthrough though,

I loved the fact that you had to physically rewind the toys in order to keep them going. The game's art style and music also compliment the wind up toy feel really nicely.

I really love the rewind mechanic. The fact that you have to "save" time in order to rewind instead of having an endless rewind makes it a lot more interesting. It does however, lead to situations where the player can get stuck. Other then that, it's a really neat game with a nice neon aesthetic.

This is a great game. It's easy to pick up and is very entertaining. The only thing I would change is the difficulty curve. Sometimes the number of planets on screen can feel a bit overwhelming. Maybe you could try giving certain planets different abilities like a strong gravitational pull or space distortion to maintain the difficulty without having too many planets on screen at once.

Everything in the game from the art style to the movement feels on point. I do, however, think that the car should be placed further back to give the player a bit more time to see the obstacles. The obstacles also spawn in clumps leaving rather large portions of the road rather empty.  Other then that though, it's a really good game.

It's a short adventure game made using the gameboy's color palette.

Everything from the level design, character animation, movement, and the sound design felt extremely polished. The camera, after i realized i could rotate it around, also felt extremely well executed. Overall, this is one of the best jam games I've played.

Starting at the end is a really neat concept. You could have further enhanced it by making the player move from right to left. It also would have been nice to get some sort of indicator on how many jumps you had left but overall, it's a pretty fun game.

Thanks for taking the time to play my game. You can actually record an infinite number of ghosts as there is no coded limit on how many you can have.

The graphics and the audio were really nice but the movement could use a bit more polish. I would recommend using rigidbody.addforce to jump next time instead of simply moving the player up as it results in a more natural jump.

I love the concept of the game but I felt that some of the obstacles were a bit unfair as they were right outside the screen. The movement was felt a bit. Overall tho, It was a nice game and I really enjoyed playing it.
