I looked for something to play with my dusty old controller from the drawer which will also work in browser. I liked the description. But this exceeded my expectations. The feeling of freedom with the controls, the sync with music makes it a piece of art.

Cool game, funny animations but the camera is too far, I barely can figure it out which one is apple and which egg on 24"

Cool graphics, a bit slow but it's fun to play nevertheless.

Amazing

At first it was confusing what is about this right arrow on the screen but after I went to the edge the game started 😆

Love the graphics!

Cool puzzle game. But on the fourth cake, skull and swords stopped blocking the paint so I couldn't go further 😞

Amazing katamari!

Beautiful artwork, fun game, a lot of action, altho when I already collected all the ingredients, I need still one more to finish 🤔

Cool small game, somewhat confusing because as I catch the ingredients, the bread builds sometimes and when I skip some, I get angry faces and even collecting everything I can never make it on time

Beautiful simple graphics, fitting music, just create a rule for game over and you have a complete game for release!

I love it. The graphics, the audio and the gameplay. You packed so many things into such a small game. Even the tutorial is appreciated.

However, the game is soooo complex that you need a longer time to fully understand it.

Hmm... That's weird, I never experienced the tape loading to hang. But thanks for notifying!

Beautiful! I am just as lame at it as in Mario Kart 😂. It renders very well in such a low rez, the UI is very well polished and the models do not lack any animation!

The only thing is that I pressed shift and it started switching camera modes in some weird way.

At first I confued "avoiD" with "auDio". Some animations and sounds would also feel good in here. But the core idea of the torch is very well implemented.

A bit difficult at the beginning but hear me out: I love this fluff-cute-pastel-color style! Put this into an arcade machine and collect coins for each play🤣!

Beautiful mixed style and cool gameplay!

I love that VHS aesthetics! However, the gameplay is confusing - I don't know when did I find the code or where was the player - it kinda happened by itself. Would love to see you continue the development and make it into a full game because the idea and title of "being sucked into the VCR" sounds really promising!

Particles are very cool in here but after the first level where I press the button and "door" appear, in the second level they just vanish quite fast. I tried to rewind in the same moment as I pressed the button but with no luck. Some help at least in the description might be useful!

It's a pity that you lost faith. However, you should give yourself pat on the back for at least uploading it! I suggest this video and in general this channel, he touches a lot of problems often faced by gamedevs:

A very mysterious game (both because of the cover image and the gameplay). At first I thought that these dark figures are ghosts that will kill me. I understood what's going on after third rewind and the idea is brilliant. I also like the GB graphics.

Fast action and great scary mood!

It was pretty difficult for me to understand how to play. But that earrape voice kept me playing 😂.

Beautiful music, cool gameplay and surprises (when you think that if you fall down, you will die, also is it possible to get that heart in the room to the far right?), stunning sprites despite their tiny size.

I would just add some shading to the platforms you can jump through, probably make them brighter.

Hmm, I will look into it. I use HaxeFlixel so I don't know if I have such low-level access to Lime. Lots of thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks, I know about the blur, tried to fix it with no luck.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I know about the blur, tried to fix that but there's some crazy OpenFL magic going on (ironically, on the desktop target it is still pixelated when upscaled😅)

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

I mean, I know about tile tearing but it's not a big deal, the outlines of the sprites seem to be lost (look at the character or at the pause icon). I'm not a Unity user but there might be some setting to enable bilinear scaling (ironically, I have the opposite issue with OpenFL where I wanted nearest scaling to keep pixelation and it was fixed on some linear/cubic😅)

I really loved the idea and how many concepts you packed into a single game. Even though the graphics were simple, you can easily improve them and release the game (or use some scaling because in <1080p the some outlines are missing).

Regarding the instructions, the time should not be running out during reading them, so some longer-tutorial phase would be welcome.

Very cool for training your thinking and reaction speed. That requires a lot of attention, just as writing with your other hand.

I like the idea that there's possibility to play in online-multiplayer. The mechanics are fun to play. Although I would certainly tweak them to not be that difficult for a beginner (but on a larger map that would be an amazing Liero competitor) and definitely add some dark outline to the bullets because this yellow is barely visible on bright background.

Beautiful graphics, cool concept, audio is a bit too repetitive but that's understandable as the time was just a week.

Thanks, I will look into it!

Thanks :D!

Thanks a lot!

This is great! Especially after many tries you realize that you can't run away from those feelings.

As you wanted to improve art (in the description): I would say both of your styles are good but I wouldn't mix pixelated character with way less pixelated floor (like in this screenshot)

This game reminds me of maniac mansion and similar productions. It is very short but there is so much potential for expansion. Sfx is great!

Beautiful art and audio! Simple to understand and play. Although I don't know where is the limitation of different genres. Maybe introduce actual A/B/C dialogues during actual dates?

Great that there's a story. Cool retro graphics with a stable palette. Although the music could be less repetitive (as longer or with breaks). Anyway, the difficulty is quite high from the beginning but it's easy to understand mechanics.
