Regarding Unity 2020.1

I've been trying to set up a Unity 2020.1 project for a few hours, and I've found a few major stability issues. I wasn't even able to set up packages, it had some bug that would clear all installed packages. 2020.1 is on its first public release, so unless there's a particular new feature that you want to use, I'd recommend using Unity 2019.4 LTS instead of 2020.1.
Hope this helps for someone!

One thing they have really messed up are the lightnings:

Don't underestimate it. The bake process now takes way longer and in 7hrs I was able to finish only one -.-

Wow, the stability is somehow worse than I thought...

Yes, 2019.4 is the long term stability, so it is far less likely to break. It has a few less features, but won't corrupt your game or do anything stupid.

Thanks so much for the tip! I thought I'd update and be cool with the latest stuff.

Thanks for the tip. I'm literally downloading 2020 now but I won't use it for this jam. Thanks!
