In what way does your game fit the theme?
In Robot Bounds, you need to find your 2 other robot friends. Even though they are broken, you can take back their personality and memory and use their unique capacity to pass the difficult level, which would not be possible alone.

I think i could've done a game more fitting, but as my first project in a gamejam i'm still proud and hope it still fit the theme !

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code and all the asset were made by me. The only exception was the music, done by a friend named Jérome Marthe. I still look up on the internet for thing i wasn't aware how to do.

Cool game, I really liked the switching of characters, as well as interesting jumping mechanics, you will have to remember! : D Will you appreciate my game too?

The transitions were really nice. The long jump guy also made traversing the game faster which is always a plus and he reminded me of the Mario 64 long jumps which is another plus. One problem I did have was the collision. I got stuck on one of the platforms. The other minor problem was that you jumped when holding the space bar down instead of when pressing it. I know I gave you a lot of critiques, but I do love this game. It's a very charming and nice relaxing experience while still having some difficult challenges.

It was a tough game start, but as soon as I reread your tip on the swapping also activating jumps it became immensely engaging.

Fun character design and well crafted jump puzzles. A very worthwhile game!

Definitely one of my favorites so far. I really liked the over all feel of the transitions, text and story. A week well spent.

Hello !

Thank you a lot ! I'm not the kind of person to have great appreciation of my work, so that means a lot for me. :)

I'll be looking for your game too and giving you feedback !

The game is really fun but the dialog at the beginning of the game moves way too fast for me to read.

P.S. I would really appreciate it if you check out my game.

Developer

Hello !

The dialog don't move except when you press any key, i'll try to fix it in the future. Thanks for your rating. :)

Played your game and it was fun, however, there was one jump that was seemingly impossible and I couldn't get past it, other than that, it was good!

Hello !

The game was completed by me and a friend, which jump was seemingly impossible ? I can try to ease it or at least help you on it !

Thanks for your rating anyway, it is very nice of you. :)

Thanks for your feedback, i don't really know what i can do to fix it, i will look to the internet to see what's can be done.

Well yeah, probably not much you can do even if you find a solution since the uploads are locked now. Just wanted to let you know, also seen quite a few other games with the same issue. I guess it's just an issue on Macs (dunno if even just specific OS version or me being on apple silicon has something to do with it) so it's not affect that big a portion of people. But we do exist! 😅

Sad, the cover looked lovely...
