In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have 2 playable characters who have benefits and weaknesses, the bear is strong but afraid, and the light is safe but fragile, you need both to progress through your levels thus making you stronger together, and weaker apart
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote all the code ourselves yes, obviously with help from tutorials. And all the assets were from scratch

Beautiful game experience! Great level design and love how they interact with the environment. The combat system is great too.. makes you feel every punch the bear gives to the... the nightmarish things... whatever the enemies are.
A few points to improve in the platform parts would be the shadow projecting right under the kid, so the player could calculate where is going to land. I fell soo many times in the middle of the level. At least if you keep that camera angle, which I like it very much.
But I really enjoy the game. Great work! Congratulations!
Edit: read some comments about the cam angle. I think the angle is not the problem, but the things that block the line of sight between the camera and the player. I disabled the mesh in the mesh renderer with the option Shadow/Shadow Only, which makes the mesh invisible, but keeps projecting the shadows. Hope it helps.
Thank you very much for your feedback! I agree some platforming sections are a bit tricky and should be looked into. Really happy you enjoyed the experience overall!
Absolutely! Great job!
Love the story idea! The camera angle was a bit weird, wish I could've changed it. But a really cute game!
Thanks, we get a lot of comments about the camera angle, we’ll keep it in mind for next time
The idea is pretty good, but the game feels a bit unfinished.
Yeah, we had a lot more ideas for the game but the time for the best of us.
Loved the "meatiness" of the punches and the punch combo, i would have liked if i was able to control the camera because there where some times where i couldn't see the character, overall it was great, very well done!
Thank you, we soon realized that some angles made it hard to see, sadly it was too late, we’ll keep it in mind for the future tough!
great Idea. loved the animation alot. The combat is needs some more work but overall great game.
Well Done!
We started working on the combat and the enemies around mid-development and encountered more problems than we anticipated. I understand where you're coming from and we'll definitely improve on that in the future. Glad you liked it overall!
Liked the atmosphere, getting on the bear makes you feel "big". Only complaint is that the progression and combat feels a bit repetitive.
Yeah, sadly the combat ended up taking a hit because of the deadline :c
I’m glad you enjoyed the game!
This game looks really awesome and I love the animations on the teddy bear! Also knocking down the walls of blocks is really satisfying! The combat needs some more flare, but otherwise nice work!
Haha, knocking down the walls is a favorite of mine too. Thanks for the valuable feedback, glad you liked it!
I love the graphics, the teddy bear is super adorable :) And I absolutely like how you've transformed the characteristics of the two protagonists into their movement speed with the strong but slow bear and the swift spirit. It feels really nice to play with both of them!
The animator really hit the nail with the animations and timing for the characters :) I’m glad you liked it!
great game!
Thanks!
cool game, very athmosperic!
I’m glad you enjoyed the atmosphere
I really like this type of atmospheric games where a lot of the story is told through the environment.
The word atmospheric is thrown around a lot, but you've managed to hit the spot for me.
Reminds me a bit about the game Rime, which I highly suggest you check out!
Like people said below, this is quite an ambitious project for a game jam and you pulled it off.
Would really like to see it coming to life and expanded upon!
Good job!
Yeah we kind of over scoped a little bit at the start, but we managed to pull through at the end. I’m glad you enjoyed the game :D
Very cool idea, fitts the theme perfectly, great job!
Thanks!
Very nice idea for the theme! I enjoyed trying to solve the puzzle-like situations and it was cool working as a team, controlling the bear and smashing down walls. An ambitious project given the time limit and certainly one that could be expanded upon! It would have been nice to be able to control the camera and I would have liked things slightly sped up, but considering the time frame for this game jam you managed to convey your design really well and there was a lot of content to play through!
Nice work :)
Thanks for the feedback! We’ll keep it in mind for the next jams
Cool game!
Thanks!
