I couldn't play much of the game since I didn't have the right screen resolution, but what I was able to play was amazing!
-The graphics look awesome and the gameplay didn't feel too bad.
-I like the idea of your gun overheating instead of ammo, it keeps me from just shooting all the time.
-I also really liked the screen transitions and storytelling
Overall, it felt pretty polished and fun to play
Thanks for playing! Yeah i think the game works at 1080p and 1440p. If you have higher than that then you can always turn your res down, but otherwise it's okay. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Seems like melee enemies are bugged, they attacks character even when they are not close to him, so I couldn't progress further than level 3.
However, variety of weapons was cool and the 'ultimate' powerup felt really satisfying, good job!
That's the one bug I realised, but if you stay away from them then it's okay. I added the health upgrade which should help you pass the levels. Thanks for playing, though, hope you enjoyed!

Very good looking and atmospheric game, nice audio, it shows that a lot of work went into this! The text in the intro should be a lot shorter and more concise I'd say, the idea of a letter as an introduction works really well otherwise.

The katana slices made me so happy! I love upgrade systems like this and the choice of different weapons was a really nice element. Makes it so that it's not repetitive.
Thanks! It was a mechanic that we only added 2 days before submission, but we think it adds a completely new element and it's super satisfying to ult and slash at god speed with the katana xD
