In what way does your game fit the theme?
There are clones and they help you in the game

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes except for one. Actually you can read that on a txt file

Great game, I really like the character, is simple but I love the walking animation. I would enjoy a lot to see a jumping animation. Some of the levels were difficult to understand, I couldn't solve them all. Nice work! Keep the game dev rocking!

I like the characters face shape, couldnt get past the second level, didnt get the goal there.

The controls are a bit too clunky, and that's arguably the most important part of a platformer. Still, had some fun playing it, good job!

Cool game! It had a cool minimal aesthetic. The clone idea was neat! I couldn’t figure out how to beat the boss though!

for a 13 year old's first game jam, which I assume that's what this is, the game is pretty darn good.   The fact that you had animations that reacted to the players direction and a boss battle is amazing for someone so earlier in their development career.

I do always try to give some critical feedback (only because no product is perfect, and constructive feedback is a great way to help a developer know where to improve).  But instead I will make a suggestion on where I would suggest you focus your skills next, and that would be audio.  Sound can really help make a games atmosphere.  I did see you had some for landing, but for your next game try adding sounds for every action and some background music.

Again, nice job.  congrats on finish this, especially at 13 years old.

Good game in my opinion

Simple nice game, the graphics could do with a bit of a boost , very nice idea and a way to escape at the end would be very good. Good game for a game jam :)

Oof, the art style is really cool! Well donde with the design!

Sound design could be better and the mechanics could use a polish, but overall its a great project, so well done! :)

I like the Idea of the game. It has good potential. I think some music would make it better. And more opportunitys for the clone mechanic.

I like your game, and I think the clones are interesting. However, they are rarely needed, and they don't seem to help you in the boss battle. Great idea, but poor execution.

The spike patterns that you have you get past seems repetitive, and I was unable to get past level 3 and 5. However, after finding the right paths, I was able to.

There wasn't that much audio, specifically music. There were only sounds for landing on the ground and throwing punches against the boss.

There were also some bugs that I found, such as:

Still Paused- If you leave a level through the pause menu and go back into one, you will remain paused. It might not seem like it, but after you hit Escape, everything goes back to normal.

Out of Bounds- I've found multiple instances where I was able to escape the world and fall out of bounds. You can super jump over the level portals, and you can also use a bunch of clones to escape the boss arena.

Overall, you did well for your first game jam game. My favorite part is the boss battle, because you can create a mess by creating a lot of clones. :)

I think the idea was good but some things like the arrow and w combination to jump and the platforms you could fall through could use some polish.

I liked the concept of the clones. Maybe I would have given more control to them like giving the posibility to move them around. Though maybe that wasn't what you were looking for the experience.

Anyway, fun game, thank you for sharing it :)

The art style is quite nice and with some music you could create a really cool atmosphere. However, I had some issues with the gameplay. The controls feel a little unintuitive, especially the arrow + W combination. The small brown square platforms in (I think) level 4 don't work consistently. I was glitching all through and around them. In the level with the key, I managed to fall into the void, by just running to the right (put a wall there).

Also, I think you could've done more with the clones, allowing some control over them.

Having clones is a nice idea, it would be cool if instead of restarting from the beginning you restarted at the clone.
