In what way does your game fit the theme?
You are the captain of an alien spaceship and your crew has been kidnapped, by saving them you become stroger as a team through their abilities as well as gaining extra health, the crew together is stronger than a captain alone

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code myself and drew the sprites with a couple of friends and also the story boards were also made from scratch by tranquilCloud, for the tiles music and sounds we used CC0 assets from opengameart and free assets from the unity store.

*NOTE*
If you are confused about the controls there are instructions in the game page, we didn't have time to add an actual tutorial.

Cool platformer that fits the theme.

I really enjoyed the art style and the music. The music reminded me of music that is played back at my home country :)

Not sure if it was just me or on my end but I did have trouble shooting sometimes, the controls did not feel responsive.

Awesome idea, I see a lot of potential in these mechanics, the only thing that felt weird is having to hold down shift to perform moves, but that might be just me, I got the hang of it after a while.

Glad you enjoyed it and yeah it's not just you, i'm already working on better controls for the after jam version, I added these controls as a temporal thing but in the end I didn't have enough time to work on some better ones.
