In what way does your game fit the theme?
The more Pilots you save, the more health you get.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Except for the soundeffects (which I used asset packs for that I do own the rights to), all assets were made from scratch this week.

The game is pretty hard but I think that is fine.
But I think it would be better if I don't need to respawn from indoor again.
The indoor sight is interesting to see but it would be annoying after some repeats.
yeah we went back and forth on that decision and if development is continued then we will probably change it because if the difficulty
I will join the previous comments: Really good game, pretty aesthetic, hard but for a reason.
I see you surfed on the news for the title ;)
To make my part:
- I like the dual thrust, but it leads to situation where you cannot get out, and that is not acceptable for such an advanced civilization! A back thrust would not be satisfying, so why not add two rotation thrusts? And remove a bit of friction to get the space feeling
- Add a bit more UI, like a quit button, to not be forced to hard close the game :p
Well made !
Thanks for the criticism! yeah UI is the thing I will add if I decide to update the game, I have all the sprites and graphics for UI and was gonna add it but time ran out so really sorry for that. Also yeah I thought of adding a back thrust but I thought that it wouldn't be satisfying. Two rotation thrusts is a really good idea though! and I will continue to experiment with the drag on the ship more, for most of development it was half of what it is now which felt really spacey indeed but also made it extremely hard, I do agree however that I probably made the drag a bit too much in the end, and it takes away some of the space feeling.
Really nice atmospheric game! I loved how there was a perspective from inside and outside the hangar, that was a really nice touch. The assets are also really well made, as well as the lighting! Unfortunately, I couldn't make it that far in the game because it's pretty hard, but not unfairly hard I just suck. An option to show the dialogue immediately i. e. skip the slow text scrolling would be nice, and so would more of an indication of what the player's goals are ingame, but from reading the description you seem aware of that. Really solid entry!
The slow text and UI is something I want to fix in the future, thanks for the comment!
Really liked the art and the music. It took me some time to figure out that pressing both A and D together makes the ship fly in a straight line. Very hard game though, I loved the idea of the ship being only controlled by two directions but it also made controlling it very hard and sometimes I can get into a situation that I can't get out from. Keep up the good work.
Hey, pretty fun game. A very interesting approach to pixelated 3d objects and sounds so well together!
I've got a little bit frustrated controlling the vehicle in the space, especially when it comes close to a wall. There must be fly-back control over the ship in my opinion.
Rated ;)
This game is beautiful, it looks so darn good. Took me a minute to figure out how to start the missions, but i'm glad I did! Flying the ship feels so good! Having A for one engine and D for the other was a great design choice, I love it!
Thank you! feels really good to hear that someone enjoyed what we worked really hard on!
liked the name! ( new rover on mars ) and the game is great!
