feel free to talk and have fun lol

Well good luck! Game jams don't care if you have a horrible game, as long as you had fun!

Hey I am a "first time jammer" and I just began learning Unity and I am currently working on a POTATO laptop ( Iam buying a new pc soon before the jam )

Good luck to all the first time jammers out there.

Haha, yeah I'm working on a decent-ish laptop too. I just started unity a couple of months ago, how long have you been using it

My only experience in game dev is a game I'm making right now "Popcorn Simulator", popcorn kernels fall down and you click on them to make them pop. I spent a whole afternoon just getting the physics for the kernel to work :D

LOL i am makig "get gf simulator" cuz i can clearly not do that in real life

haha, thats nice :D

I guess popcorn being generally rare in games yet? While next to yours I just know another version which is about pouring kernels into a machine (with the player's goal: not overflowing it after they're popping-up soon). In other cases I just notice them as image like if cinema being shown, while they're not interactive as game-scene I guess.

Your game sounds cool in graphics just by reading about how it gets designed. I'm more the textbased dev-coding user, creating stories or recently also with additional effects, without using either unity / c++ / phyton / etc. just html with some (java)scripts and style-tags.

I am the king of 70%. I haven't made a full game. I can only make a game until I really think my idea is sick. And most-likely I don't know how to code the things I want to make lol.

Greetings, I am the king of 60%, lol. I trying to study how to do pixel art, cuz I only can do is the programming part, my skills on design levels and art are terrible,  but I´m trying to improve my self, Good Luck

Dude me 2. I am so bad at art lol.

Same! It can become quite frustrating to see such amazing pixel art and then I see mine and its... well... horrendous. But hey, learning as we go!

Hi first time game jammer here. Been familiarizing myself with Godot for a while now.

This is also my first time jamming. I use the Unity engine and use gimp for making my pixel art.

Hey, first time (ish) jammer here. I may not have any actual skill when it comes to making games, but I am somewhat knowledgeable when it comes to general game design and creative design.  I know saying "I'm more of an ideas guy" is really stupid but it's really how it feels for me.  Generally I'm mostly interested in how game elements can come together in unique and intuitive ways to create a better experience as a whole. Anyways, would love to just be of help in any way shape or form, despite lacking in most of the basic skills. I've been part of a few failed projects here and there but would love to just get some real insight to how to make games and I'm willing to learn as much as I'm physically able t

hi ill probably have a super trash game, but i dont really care

Hi everyone!
I am also a first time jammer.

Learning Unity and Blender for a while. Sometimes doing pixel art.
On my avatar you can check the "mutant" that I have made.

Can give you .fbx of it, if you need this for your game XD

Good luck to everyone!

i do pixel art as well

Im also a first time jammer who has never made a game EVER and im super excited to participate in this jam!

I have a question tho, what is a good software to make sound effects such as shooting. Music etc?

For sound-effects I'd recommend "audacity", which needs "lame.dll" as file for converting your file into mp3-types, which isn't included in the downloadversion so far. Still I like the slow/speed-up effect with optional echo and cutting out specific parts, inserting them in the same or additional audio-line within the same project. Maybe depends on the version of app you're using, I'm preferring an older one which includes those features.

hello I am a new jammer too! and I use scratch and yes i plan to use scratch in the gamejam :D:D

Also first jammer here, looking forward to it.

I'm also a first time jammer

Hello everyone! Like the others on this post, I'm also a first time jammer. In my Unity career, which is quite recent, I've only finished two (very simple) games. I'm really just participating for the fun of it. And maybe I can surprise myself!

Hey everyone :|

big disapointement just happened to me...

school just started which means...i will have to quit the jam...where it literally just started...i know i know horrible as it sounds but final exams which are supposed to get me to highschool or smth are now here so i cant really do anything about it, and the jam is one week or less so...
