In what way does your game fit the theme?
It's about playing on an arcade in a very chaotic setting with a lot of interactions between 3d/2d

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I made everything by myself. Only sounds and music are from an asset pack for which I bought the copyrights.

Looks fantastic. Really great job with the use of 2d and 3d in this. Arcade machine is top notch. I would say it becomes pretty hard to play basically immediately with all of those dorito bags flying in. I also could only get the pogo jump to work about 1/3rd of the time. I'd say button up the controls and this would be a cool idea to continue with.

Developer

thx :) yeah that was the reason for the "zen" mode ;)
I think when the jam finishes I will make the zen mode the default..
How would you change the pogo, just make the timer longer, or change the input method in some way?

This is a great game I love how the characters pop out of the screen. I also love the menu transition. Felt awesome. Zen mode's music was so nice. Great job.

I think I also noticed a reference to the Blackthornprod Jam theme Less is More. Nice!

This is so good!

Great concept, I especially like when things come out of the machine like in the vampire boss fight or when you kill an enemy. Its also really fun and challenging not shaking the screen and predict the bosses without being able to see them. My favorite game of the jam so far, good job :)

Developer

glad you liked it and thank you for the heartwarming comment <3

Played the zen mode. A game in a game! nice touch

Developer

Yeah, I knew the chaos elements would be too much for some ^^ (even for me while playtesting the game for a whole week haha)

Very good game, the only complaint is that the vampire boss's collider felt kind of unfair, well done!

Developer

Thx for the feedback, I will adjust the hitbox for a later version!

Beatufiully chaotic. Really creative. Kinda feels crazy for a jam game, I'm sure it was a lot of work!

Really nice game. The vision blocking is a cool way of instilling chaos in the game. Kind of sad the pogo sword mechanic was so minimal. I want a whole game of that. The visuals and sound were great. Level design was secretly really clean. Overall, Great submission.

Developer

Haha Interesting to see so different opinions on that ^^'.  Some found the pogo mechanic to be too hard, glad you liked it :P

that was magnificent experience. Great theme realisation, good game/level design, liked using new mechanics in interesting ways and coming back to get new one, challenging boss fights(vampire fight is very fun), 2d art is pleasant, 3d not so pleasant, but it didn't ruin the experience.

Hello! Very good idea and well done. Would be cool if you could remove the obstacles infront of the screen with you mouse, cuz sometimes you have to wait until they are gone to proceed the level. Still, extremly well done!

Would be awesome if you could play & rate my game aswell! Thank you, tiimo :3

This was very fun, I love the old CRT tv aesthetic, it reminded me a lot of a game I played a while back called You Have To Win The Game. The graphics were crisp and pleasant, played in zen mode it was chill and relaxing while chaos mode was really challenging with avoiding certain things (like the vampire).

I was very surprised when I saw the combination of 2D and 3D, it's straight +. At first I did not understand in which mode I was playing, but when I saw how chaos was implemented, everything fell into place. Also + for implementation.

During the battle with the vampire, I burned a little :)
