In what way does your game fit the theme?
It's about playing on an arcade in a very chaotic setting with a lot of interactions between 3d/2d
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I made everything by myself. Only sounds and music are from an asset pack for which I bought the copyrights.

Wow, what a wonderful idea! A game in a game! I really like it. This is exactly creative and unique. This is absolutely one of my favorite games! Although I couldn't double jump somewhere, it was too hard to jump some platforms for me. Overall, I give you 5 stars. Congrats!
I really love adventure games and this one is no exception! A classic beat game where you run and progress through the game exploring territories is great! No complaints, one of the best games on this jam!
And surely I got my dose of Bruh-moment XD
We will be grateful if you appreciate our work ^ _ ^
Fun game! Chaos everywhere. I did got stuck somewhere and couldn’t get out hahaha. But overall super fun game and nice art
interesting to have all this messy club vibes while you try to play your arcade x) chaotic definitely
Amazing game! The only thing that I'm a bit mixed about is the music choice, which while you could say is chaotic, to me doesn't really match the game's wacky vibes. I don't think the ominous chanting really mesh well with bruh_sound_effect.mp3. But then again, that's a minor personal nitpick compared to everything else about the game, which is fantastic! It's really creative and the way you implemented it is really good! Just, stellar work!
This is the first game I've seen that combined 2D and 3D to legitimately great effect to get across the chaos element, with a very out there idea that really interested me as soon as I saw. Personally I was not expecting that animation to play bringing me to the arcade machine. I was fully expecting it to just switch scenes into the actual game.
The whole physics setup for the bags, cans etc. that come onto the arcade machine is awesome. Especially the fact that the controls can impact them. That was not expected by me at all, I assumed that they would just be affected by the... shaking(?) of the machine and was quickly proven wrong.
One thing I would like to note though, is that the physics definitely led to a lot of times where removing something from the machine took forever due to the objects being very stubborn physics wise, partially due to the controls as well helping them to avoid getting knocked off. So it definitely lead to some times where I was just sitting there and having to spam try and remove the props from the machine to be able to see ANYTHING. So I feel like some tweaking of that would be a good idea.
Overall though this is definitely the most finished game I've seen in this jam, and in most jams I've checked out. Especially for a one person team trying to pull off such a unique visual style. The shader plus the environment and the level design were all great. I'd love to see more levels and see what other puzzles can happen.
thank you for the detailed feedback :)
yeah I know the physics can be frustrating but its hard to balance around that considering the visuals. I would probably have to have played around more with weight/invisible hitboxes and lower spawn timers in order to make it more "bearable". But instead my ape brain wanted to make more powerups and a second boss >¬<
My quick fix was to make all external factors optional through the "zen" mode. Have you tried that? Maybe you would find that a bit more enjoyable even though it takes a bit away from the "chaos" part.
Anyways thanks for detailed analysis of what you did and did not like <3
OMG, really creative game! I really liked the doritos be thrown to my screen! haha But seriously, it was a really good and polished game, and I have nothing to complain about it! :D
This. Game. Is. Awesome. It's one of the most innovative games I've seen! Really fun game and I loved the 3D pixel food flying across the screen. Super cool :)
A great game! Very polished and fun, the 2d and 3d interactions were amazing and the game felt amazing
Your game is awesome. Well polished and very fun. The concept is also a good idea. Good Job !
Game is funny XD, a mixture of 2D and 3D
please rate mine too https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1175460
This is absolutely fantastic. The gimmick is really creative and funny and the 2D game is pretty fun as well. I also love the atmosphere. I would have never thought to choose the type of music you did but I think it adds to the experience. Solid game for sure!
This game is absolutely amazing! This game feels like a mini zelda game! The art and music are incredible especially the 3D effects. All the mechanics are fun and work super well. The chaos mode definitely goes well with the theme (although I played it in zen) This is an extremely impressive, well done and polished game. I really love this game, great job!!!
This concept is amazing and you pulled it off really well (especially in chaos mode that really makes the game great though I think it messed with me a bit too much after spending a while playing jam games as the chaos mode effects happened a lot like immediately after getting stuff off the machine), only thing I could complain about is that I was a bit loss with the last part until I figured out that you can shoot up, but other than that its a really great game with great execution of 3D and 2D especially with how stuff in the game pops out onto the machine!
