In what way does your game fit the theme?
You obtain cards throughout the game that give your weapon various effects, which become more and more chaotic the longer you hold onto them.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code except for the player movement controller, which is under fair use. And all assets are from scratch (except for the explosion sound effect, for obvious reasons).

Awesome game, i like upgrade system and music really chaotic.

It will also be cool if you prevent a skeleton spawn near the player.

T-pose skeletons in menu looks funny.  :D

Thank you so much, I am glad you enjoyed it. I agree about the skeleton spawning and actually talked about it in the comment below. Also, the skeletons T-posing on the menu are pretty funny. I made 2 of them holding hands as well :-) because I thought it was funny. I wanted them to wander around but just didn't have the time to implement something like that just for cosmetics. Also if you look at the menu hard and long you might see something funny.

Nice music, loved the look of the game! Cool reload animation. Skeletons spawning right next to you is a little annoying, having fixed spawn points on the map may have been better (or maybe I'm just bad at the game).

Thank you for the feedback. And I agree with you with the skeleton spawning not being too great. The actual problem is that there are 16 fixed spawn points on the map. The skeletons can only spawn within 30 units of you. Those are the only 2 limitations. There should have been some limitations like skeletons can't spawn if they spawn is closer than like 5 or maybe 10 units. Hopefully, that is something that can be implemented in future updates, or at least noted for future games.

Fun to play, just would have liked if there where more enemies, skeletons get boring after a while. Other then that great game!

Thank you for playing. Also agreed, I mentioned in another comment, but we have more enemies planned that got scrapped for time. I think those enemies would have made the game a lot better.

Nice work there. Pretty solid game
My only complain is that it is a shooter game where you cant do headshots. I mean, the skull guys doesn't have hitbox at their heads. Huaha

Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it. And that is fair, I mentioned it on another comment but we just completely overlooked headshots for some reason. Hopefully, we can include that in future updates or games.

Good shooter with interesting mechanic of changing your weapon, some stepping sound for the skellies would make a big difference for me.

Probably heard that a lot already, but: The reload Animation is really nice. Would have loved to give the skeletons headshots, but explosions seem to clip through :(

Thank you for your feedback.  And I agree about the headshots. Honestly, it wasn't even a planned feature and I don't really know how are why we looked over that. It would have been really nice to have headshots with some sort of feedback that you got a headshot for that sweet satisfaction.

I love the reload animation! Overall it's a pretty fun game, although skeletons should have less health imo.

Fun game, would have liked the skeletons to have a bit lower health. That way I'd feel like I was making more progress per bullet.

Waaat the reload animation is so good! So satisfying. This idea is great I'd love to see this as a full release like a gun/magic/deckbuilder/roguelike that sounds legit amazing

Thank you so much, I am glad you liked it. Our animator did a really good job. Everything feels amazing. I would love to take the concepts from this game and make a full game out of it, so maybe one day!

I like this idea. Hope you'll improve this game.
It's sad that such a small map, I think it would be better to make it bigger and add a variety of opponents. Good luck!

I am glad enjoyed the idea. I wish we could have made a bigger map, maybe something even procedurally generated. Unfortunately, we had 2 more potential enemies that ended up getting scrapped because of time constraints. It's hard because you wish the players could experience all the ideas you had, but it's hard when you only have a week. I am planning to make a post-jam patch to the game that fixes some bugs and adds some small easy changes. Then maybe take the concepts we set up here and make a full game out of it, but that I really don't know about. Thank you, and good luck with your game as well.

Nice idea, but it is a bit hard to choose cards when you have skeletons chasing you the whole time, I died almost instantly on my first try. I also had trouble aiming because it was lagging but that was probably my pc’s problem.

Thanks for playing. I agree with the hard to choose cards part. I think I would have reworked that if I had left enough time for more playtesting. I was hoping it would play into the chaos a bit, but there is some tactical difficulty to it that isn't really chaotic, just frustrating.

i think the most chaotic part of the game was the skeletons i didnt really notice the cards because i was constantly being chased
