Hi guys, I am one more that need ur help regarding the 20 rates.

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1177078

Thanks in advance <3

Cool man, I am curious about how the characters tentacles were made. Was it a 3D mesh with some joints to capture the movement or another technique?

Ahh nice, it was that them. Thanks for clarifying. yeah, indeed time was very crucial in this Jam, all of us wanted some more minutes to polish, but that is how it works xD

Thanks for the feedback. We did had some issues on implementing a tip system which would help understand the micro and major goal of the game.

I will be trying yours

Nice game, it seems to have potential! Really like the genre changes, remind a little the aproach of Evoland and also Nier huahaa

My biggest complain is about the instant death by any hit and also regarding the entire idea of putting the player to press Space every second for one entire minute without any change on the challenge, on the second stage. :p

Nice work with the graphics there although I had some FPS issues.

Another complain I have is related to the BGM, it was kind off. Felt more related to a 16-bit retro game than the polished 3D graphics you offered.

I really well made game, congratulations to the team. Got nostalgic touched by the FF fanfare at the ending.

Nice work there. Pretty solid game
My only complain is that it is a shooter game where you cant do headshots. I mean, the skull guys doesn't have hitbox at their heads. Huaha

Nice man, a Wrecking Ball with Laser made my day huaha
The destructible building have two different meshes (a complete and and a sliced one?) or the slice is made by some cool algorithm in runtime?

Hi there, I could not understand what have to be done
Anyway, the coincidence here is that we have made a UFO related game as well, haha!

Cool, the 3D characters seems very polished, the movement and attack animation too. Nice selection and implementation of it!

The attack could have had some small vfx or sfx on it to sell more that it hit the enemy.

But, the camera was very flickering and I ended by being trapped in the middle of a corridor. Couldn't advance neither return.

Also, on that corridor, when I wer eon the stairs, my atatcks didnt land on the enemies some milimeters below, ahd to go in the middle of them for a hardcore battle.

Seems very classic, remind me a lot of some megaman SFX, nice implementaiton of the graphics as well.

About the game in egenral, I had to go through a lot of "You Suck!" just because the Rocks Mining thing didnt make too much sense at distance.
Also, I didn't find any chaos related stuff.

Yay! I got the nice ending there. Wondering who had this magnificient idea huaha

Had some trouble playing the WebGL version. That dialogue was kind offensive thou :o

Yeah,  I am too, the hand draw here is very well made

Simple but yet very fun, I felt it could have a diagonal movement as well, would increase the freedom of the player.

Aside that I was caught by Mom but she was on the other side of the screen, cant say if it was a bug or there was a second Mom there and I didnt saw hauhah

Nice, the Intro and the Voice Over was very care done.
I feel that the throw box could be just a push/kick it. I mean, without need to press Q and then E, just press E and start kicking like Bomberman Kick bombs :p

It seems it would be more fun to mess the scene that way.

Nice, the 3D assets there were very well made.

For somewhat reason, I could not pass through the great gap where the giant skull were. I defeated him and come back, after that I could not pass anymore without reseting the game and respawning the giant skull.

Hi there, thanks for the comments and for rating it. We really appreciate your help.

In order to help you guys having a better experience:

  • The idea here is to abduct some of the characters in order to receive tips of who is your final target to be abducted.

There were some systems that we could not implement as expected  which would make the goal clearer, but we tried our best. :)

Also there was a very cool Game Over animation but it didn't show up on this build. :')

Hello guys, sometimes Windows game doesn't receive too much love because people don't like to download and double click on a .Exe.

If this is your case, share your entries here and I will be playing them and rating!

Also, please consider taking a look at our game, my team had a great time making it:

Nice game! :D
Just a small tip, it would be easier if we had the "Next Level" button as well after completing a level.

Thanks for all the feedbacks. Yeah, i wish I had more time, but it happened this way because I didn't organized myself for the Game Jam.

About the controls I really took a good amount of time to polish it. Maybe it still needs some tweaking but for now it is as I wanted to be and hope its very "surfer" - like.  <3

By now, I'm submitting some updates. So it will be considered out of the Game Jam by the rules.

Thanks again for your support, have a nice day everyone.

Yes, it is a pretty cool game, but this part at the beginning was so difficult that probably half of the players abandon it there.

Hello! Thanks in advance for playing & rating other participants's games. Already rated your game in one of my posts.

Here is mine: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/rate/574082

Hi Jorava,

Thanks for your honest feedback! I greatly appreciate that! :D

About the music, it is really a small fix, but we will do it after the voting phase. Also, we planned at least 5 obstacles, but could not make on time (taking into consideration bug fixes and art production related to them).

For now, I will just ask for you to stay tuned. We are planning a updated version regarding community's feedback, might hit after the JAM voting is over. ;)

The camera turned so fast that I became dizzy in seconds haha

Thanks for your feedback!

Yes, of course I can. rated it already! ;)

Thanks very much for your feedback Nathan!

About dying when hitting the wall, this is really a thing that should be done. Thanks again for pointing it.

hey man, just played your game. The synthwave like song in the beginning was dope!

Yay! I could win it!

Those streets seems like the ones in my neighborhood thou. Haha

Cool game. :)

Thanks for your feedback! I am very glad you had some fun by playing! :D :D

Nice game! Here is mine:

Thanks in advance for the help!

Nice art! The audio also contributes a lot to its aesthetics!  it seems a simple thing but I liked how you made the flying enemies's vigilance area dynamic. The vigilance area was all thorough code?
