In what way does your game fit the theme?
It incorporates chaotic combat which increases in difficulty over time. The combat is chaotic, because you have to keep your Plants watered, while keeping enemies at bay.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Almost everything. Code, Art, Animations, Sounds, ... EXCEPT for the Music were made from scratch by a team of 2.

Loved the game, and I appreciate a good skill tree when I see one!
I really like how polished the game is an dthe art style is just beautiful. You really did a great job there, pls do not waste this project. Keep going! :)
Fun game! I wish there was a water bar for the plant.
The art is nice too, good job :)
Love the graphics and the fact that there is a upgrade tree!
Also sometimes i think that that theres a but that the plant starts to get regular damage even though there is no enemy and i keep shooting it with water
Glad you liked it, was very fortunate to work together with a great pixel artist! :)
The plant requires a lot of water, you probably couldn't provide enough/more than it requires at the time -> Buy the Water Magic Power Upgrade or Plant Water Reserves, they should help out and avoid some of the wither damage:D
Amazing game! I had a lot of fun playing. Reminds me a lot of online flash(rip) games I used to play. Wonderful artstyle and I really like the upgrade tree.
Some very minor issues:
- The upgrade progression is a bit too slow. Getting all of them would probably take 1,5-2h of playtime
- The golem's hitbox does not match the sprite (it's too far in front of him)
- The secondary plants seemed to have no purpose (?). I couldn't keep watered more than 1 at a time anyway.
Great job overall :)
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
You're very right about the 1,5-2hours, nice guess haha, unfortunately I couldn't playtest most things and relied on feedback from friends and then tried to get as many fixes in as I could. Still missed quite a few though (These Jams are no joke)
The small plants are supposed to be a kind of "bait/shield" for the main plant. You do loose some hp when one dies, but if you purchase most of the Plant Upgrades, you will see that they help you out a ton!
This is one of the most fun games I’ve played! I loved the mechanics and the growing system.
Really nice game, solid fundamentals and the upgrades keep you playing :)
Very cute looking and addictive game! sometimes I have this weird bug when nothing hit the plant but it takes damage though.
Look, mom, I'm little chaos mage! ^^
Lovely game :D
Hints, in case you would like to continue on development this game :)
- Sometimes, if enemy is too close, I miss him, because projectile point is already behind that enemy and projectile flies away.
- Ingame music seems to not loop, so after a specific time, there is silent :/
- The game could do have more levels - every level would be more difficult, but would give more XP :)
Absolute banger soundtrack and great sfx. Loved the artstyle and great idea for a skilltree to give replayability. Ended up really enjoying this game and it's my favorite in the jam so far. Well done!
This is a very cute game
She really brought chaos to my brain, an attempt to track the state of the spread of chaos and destroy opponents, or how to become Julius Caesar XD
Really cool concept, i really enjoyed the game and it really fits the theme well!
one thing tho i found an exploit to get upgrades faster. not gonna say here tho
