How does you game fit the theme?
My game is a spot the difference style game. It fits the theme because the "illusion" or fake tile is not real.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes.

Really great game. It's a simple concept that has been designed really well. The only thing I would say would be to avoid basing levels on small changes in colour as that can be really challenging/impossible for some people to do. If you want to keep it in, maybe just add an option to turn them off in the menu. Otherwise, this game felt really fun to play. I'd also recommend, as a way to keep things interesting, the levels you see change as the game goes. My first thought was to decrease time but I think that would get too difficult too quickly. Also, the main thing that kept me playing was to beat the score of the person who commented under the game (TheJackXBL), so maybe play into the competitiveness and add a leaderboard or something along those lines.  All in all, great game. You've done really well.

Thank you for the feedback, and I agree a setting to disable levels focused on color would probably be a good idea.

Very fun! And brain exhausting xD But I like it. It's a nice experience and despite the fact that there is sooo many things for the brain to check in a fixed short time its very great made! I love how many different types of "levels" there is and how it all works! Great job and keep it up!

Thanks, I am glad you liked it! I definitely tried to put a lot of thought into the level generator to create lots of variations.

This was so much fun! It felt like an arcade game eating my coins up! Very innovative and addicting to play! My high score was 50! Those fast-forward signs always got me...! Amazing game!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah, the patterns can be quite tricky haha.

So simple but very pleasing, the colors were nice and the quick thinking was fun to do. Must be hard for color blind people though.

Developer(+1)

I am glad you enjoyed it! Also yeah, it might have been a good idea to have unique shapes for levels based on colors for people with color blindness.

I love these kinds of games. Gonna show it to my son.

Developer

Thanks, I hope he likes it!

I thought the game was innovative but the audio was maybe a touch loud.

Developer

Thank you, and yeah an audio slider might have been useful.

This is really entertaining! Great game. It could really use a less repetitive music nonetheless, but the M key comes in handy.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I agree, the music could've used a bit of work probably haha.

Fascinating game. Makes me feel like I'm not as old as I thought I was.

Developer

Haha, thanks.

This is the game where I can test if my eyes is working lol. Probably I can suggest this for those test that requires eyesight hahaha. Good choice that there is  a toggle for sounds but would love to have it in an adjustable intead of a toggle so that I can still listen to the music and be comfortable with the volume. Awesome job!

Developer

It's funny you mention that, when I was making the game the thought of it being used for an eye test was a thought I had haha. Thanks for playing!

My best score is 13 (I know this is terrible), man this is not easy, it's very addictive. Spot on for the theme, quick and simple game, I would definitely play this on my phone when I'm bored. Great job overall, loved it!

Developer

Thanks for playing, it definitely can be challenging! I was considering possibly creating a mobile version of the game in the future.

It's simple but fun; Found that I always struggled with the 4-triangle pattern, almost everytime haha. Wonder why that is

Developer

Thanks! It's funny you mention that, I noticed that specific pattern tends to get a lot of people so you would not be the only one haha.

Nice one!

Thanks!

Sometimes, I lose because I mistake the highlight cursor (the light-colored square) as the "different" thing. Usually happens when I move the mouse away from the game window to see the shapes without obstruction.

The more I died, the more it fueled my competitiveness!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Distinguishing between the highlighter and tiles was definitely a concern of mine when I made it, I appreciate the feedback.

Fun and intense, I got 70 points, could experiment with making time limit faster throughout the game.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I agree a scaling difficulty curve probably could have helped make the game feel more dynamic.
