How does you game fit the theme?
there are strange things going on here... is this all real?
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
yes, everything was made by us, except the background in the space level.
and for space background, I used the link below

Interesting. I was lost at first, but then I saw that you've put a lot of content into the game, really well done!
thanks for playing.
I watched your gameplay and I can't believe my game has soo many bugs, thank you for keeping playing and sorry about the bugs, I couldn't playtest it.
Oh from what I remember it was just a bug that restarting fixed. And then I was a bit lost. But that's all expected in jam games due to the time limit. I think it's a great way to make 3 different games into 1 basically, don't worry about the bugs, this happens when you're short on time.
Rated - hope you had a nice time with the Jam!
Amazing! I really loved the how you've approached the concept. It was really really fun. I am surprised that the first enemy was the teacher jejeje
In terms of graphics i am inloved with aliens and the bedroom it is a bit weird that sometimes he walks backwards. But overall it is a really solid game. Great work you guys.
thanks for playing and reviewing.
glad someone mentioned the teacher, I think some people thought I was lazy to make another character but fighting the teacher was the idea :)
by the way, the character looks in the direction of the mouse, I guess that's why he was walking backward. I thought it would be more realistic, especially for the last level.
Awesome! I loved the graphics and music they were both great.
I had couple visual problems though. Some other people have already mentioned this but some things specifically the barrel were too high resolution vs some other assets. Also sometimes the background cut out when your in the areas that you can get to by not doing the jumps. And lastly the camera was a little weird. The camera does not have to follow when jumping.
Other than that good game! I love the art and the idea was creative and funny!
thanks for playing and reviewing.
actually, the regular size barrel in terms of pixel per unit is the same with character and ground, etc. but for the smaller ones I didn't have time so I just scaled it down. another reason is most of the assets were made by my friend, and barrel is one of the things that I made so it has a different style :)
Well done! I thought the whole "dream within a dream" concept was great, and the platforming elements were good as well. The survival mode section was also a lot of fun to play through; I thought the art and sound for that section were wonderful. But for the other levels, I think that the graphics and audio could both use a little sprucing up; I noticed that some objects like barrels were at a higher resolution compared to the rest of the scene, which becomes more noticeable with pixel art graphics. But still, this game was a trip, and I think you did a great job with the theme by making a fun experience!
Really cool game! I like the graphics and the whole idea! The survival mode is super cool too! I think it just need a little more impact when you are attacking/being attacked with the sword, maybe sound effects or screen shake would be nice! Great work! Keep it up ^^
It was a fun little game, I chuckled at the end :D Good job!
very fun game to play. I enjoy it.
Good visual quality considering the amount of variety in the game's settings. Having a survival mode is a fun bonus; thanks for including that.
I actually beat the enemy at the end of the first level on the first try (not sure if that was meant to be possible). I also fell through the floor and out of the world once.
Having the camera follow the player as they jump is a little disorienting. If the player is just jumping and not landing on a higher platform, the camera shouldn't need to follow them.
thank you for playing and feedback.
interesting... thanks for telling the bugs.
actually no, I was trying to make that knight kill you, when you walk closer to him you can't move at some point and he kills you, I guess the knight came to you sooner than you go so you could kill it... and can you tell me where exactly did you fall?
and thanks for the camera follow idea.
Glad to help!
I fell through the world in the first level. It was after I killed the enemy at the end and had to restart the game. I was just playing the level normally; I think it happened after I jumped over an enemy(?).
Really fun game! I enjoyed the music and art style. Very clever way of linking the different worlds by adding the enemy at the end of the level.
On the first scene, when I went underground, some of the background was a bit off.
Some suggestions might be to add some of those juicy screen shakes your added to shooting to all enemies when you hit them.
Overall great job! Really enjoyed it.
wow, you're the first to mention the underground. thanks for playing and reviewing.
No problem! Thank you for the experience.
Would love if you could take a look at mine, any feedback is welcomed :
There are some nice features here, like the depth of field scrolling on the background, and how the last thing you meet on each level becomes the first thing on the next level. But the gameplay felt pretty simplistic.
I loved the way shooting the aliens felt, adding the screen shake at when you shoot down a ship feels really nice. The only advice I have is that the vertical parallax at the beginning is a bit too strong and makes jumping a bit nauseating. Awesome game, fun music and sound, enjoyed survival mode.
thanks for the feedback.
I love the art and music, and the gameplay is lots of fun too! Your concept is kind of similar to mine actually, except it is executed waaaaaaay better lol. Because of that though, I can really appreciate the creativity and time it must have taken to create all these unique levels, as well as stitching it all together with the whole dream theme. Great job!
thanks! glad you liked it.
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES OF THIS JAM, it's just really good. The music is great, I love that each dream has its own music, I love the movement of the camera, the pixel art is great and in general a very fun game that even without being created in 7 DAYS for a JAM it would be a very good game . My calification is 9,60 / 10
wow thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you liked it. gracias :)
asjdasdghksdg, de nada, compa, buena suerte! ojalá ganes :)
The game looks nice and I like the small story with the different themed dreams. The gameplay and the controls could use some more and the graphics and sound could be more polished but all together it was an enjoyable game!
the sprite animation is impressive, good job!!
I enjoyed playing through this game and thought the upgrade progression was fun. I can always appreciate a bit of an Inception moment.
I usually like to provide two critiques, so I will :)
1. The punch attack animation needed some love. The first thing I think (and take this with a grain of salt because I'm not an animator), is that the punch itself should happen in 1 or 2 frames and the retraction can take longer. Right now it's the opposite which makes the punch feel weak.
2. The alien survival part quickly becomes impossible after a minute. I was able to survive a bit longer by cheesing it (going back into the house), but not even that could save me.
thank you for playing and review :)
I will work on it after the jam
I liked how the game changed attack mechanics (from bare hands, over a sword all the way to a space gun). The only thing that didn't work for me was the fact that the camera was a bit slow, or rather it was behind the player by too much (specifically when jumping). Anyways, a very fun game!
thank you for the feedback.
I forgot to write that somewhere in the game like a tutorial, but the camera also moves relative to the cursor's position (it was something I did to make aiming better for the weapon)
cool concept would have liked to be able to shoot both left and right in the last stage it was really a lot of fun
please rate my game too

thanks, you can actually aim the weapon with the mouse, I forgot to tell that in the game.
ok NICE ... I am going to play survival again AHHHHHH!!!
This was awesome! Love how varied the gameplay is and how the core mechanic is still transferrable and consistent throughout the different scenes as well! The art is incredible and I was always excited to see what new kind of world and enemy I would encounter next! Great job!
Thank you :) glad you liked it.
