Really creepy atmosphere. The sound effects and music really helped create the mood, and looked really solid for a game jam game.

Scary but at least the ghost is harmless :)

Wow! How did you manage to create such a great game in just 7 days? The amount of work put in this game is enormous. You did a great job at making the player feel uneasy while exploring. Ambient noise enhances this even more. Regarding feedback, I'm not a huge fan of the character controller. It feels jittery. I also wasn't able to capture the ghost, although I did take pictures of it. Apart from these two little things, this game is amazing!

Thank you for your kind words! Unfortunately, the character controller was a place I cut corners to try and get to the deadline and was a free script from the Unity Asset Store, I had problems with it and wanted to change it while I was working on the game but I felt I needed to spend time elsewhere. I am still not happy with it and have been incorporating reviews into the project since I published it to have a post-jam release. The wandering ghost was a last-minute addition and wasn't playtested at all because I had doubts about including it until the last day. I probably should have used that time to fix the character controller but I thought the wandering ghost was more important. Photos taken are saved locally in the game's file so I'd really like to see what players are actually taking pictures of!

Great graphics! The ghost was funny and also horrifying

That was really Terrifying! Although I'm not a huge fan of this genre of games, I loved this one a lot! The visuals and sounds were really impressive and definitely deserve 5 stars!

The only issue was that the movement speed is really too slow, other than that amazing job! :)

I got confused on the ghost at first, it seemed to get close to me and when I took 2 photos of it it just kinda pushed me to the wall turned around xD I don't know if it was supposed to do something but that got me very confused and broke the immersion a bit. But after a while it just spawned right in front of me when I was trying to focus on an object that just scared the hay out of me xD

I like atmosphere, you really did an amazing job, I like that you saved the files locally! I couldn't find some of the stuff yet but hey, I'll definitely continue this later on! ^^

Thanks for your comment! The chaser ghost was a last-minute addition to the game so it wasn't playtested that much. I'm glad you liked it.

Great atmosphere, both in the visuals and sounds! Player speed may be a biiiit too slow but it fits the mood. Really like the use of the theme here

Thank you for playing! I edited the page to explain that more because it is really poorly explained. There are five types of objects that are worth points, mission items, possessed items, cursed items, interactions, and ghosts. Mission items and possessed items appear only in the camera view and possessed items will move around the house randomly. Cursed items can be seen in both normal and camera view and start in a random position each game. Interactions can be seen in both views and spawn at certain times and will disappear after enough time has passed. Ghosts cannot be seen in camera view until a picture has been taken of them. The chaser enemy is a unique entity, respawns, and is worth as many points as an interaction. To reach the end of the game you have to interact with the front door. The photos at the end are your best ten photos ranked in order.

I hope you give it another try!

Terrifying to play at 3am with headphones on in darkness. Great execution of the theme I believe. Only criticism is that the move speed is just a little too slow (Only just though). Fantastic game and one I'm going to come back to in the daylight
