How does you game fit the theme?
I don't want to spoil it. You will see.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, other than the free sound effects I used from MixKit.co. Everything was made by me, using GIMP, Blender, Bosca Ceoil and Unreal Engine, in a week.

This is a parkour platformer, not a puzzle game. A difficult long jump and wax control knocked me out of the game. Nevertheless, a good prototype! Focus on character controller. Good luck))

Developer

Its a puzzle platformer but yes the room with the parkour jumps was maybe a bit too hard.

I would say the title is a bit misleading as it's not really puzzle and more dexterity focussed.
Nonetheless it was very cool for what it is!

But please, I beg you, don't push the limits on the jumps so far.
I think it took me 30 or so tries to get the last 2 jumps for the body. It was really frustrating and I was about to give up.

The maze part was actually the strongest part for me. Very well designed and the gates actually gave it way more "dimension" than I would have expected.

Your soundtrack fit the toy-like aesthetics pretty well. Also huge props to making you own music.

You delivered a very complete feeling experience, and besides the mentioned difficulty on the jumps one of my favorites this jam so far.

Developer

People have also complained about the parkour so maybe it was a bit too difficult. Also I wanted the puzzles to be more involved with movement, similar to Portal. I hope you enjoyed it overall, despite the difficulty.

Im glad you liked my music, I wanted it to sound goofy but also space-themed.

Thank you very much for your feedback! I always appreciate criticism as it helps me to learn.

Beautiful looking game! The color choices are great!

Developer

Thank you! I was worried that it looked too bland.

Cool graphics! Had a lot of fun playing this game.

For me the parkour room took longer to complete compared to the other rooms.

Developer

The parkour room for me was the simplest to design but it does take more effort to beat. Thanks for playing!

The only part of the game I've struggled with was the box stacking room. It was kind of hard to jump on the boxes without moving them, but besides that, I enjoyed your game very much! The sound effects and the soundtrack are very cool. Also, the gameplay is very good.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the game and my music.

I did not expect red ominous eyes popping out at me although apart from that the puzzles seemed rather fair and the controls were just good enough for the platform puzzles to be fun. The music was rather strange but I kinda liked it at the same time. The stacking puzzle was a bit difficult and it seemed hard to stack the crates.

Overall I think that it was a challenge and I enjoyed playing it. Thanks for the experience.

If you got the time, feel free to check out our submission as well: OINK

Thanks for playing, I was worried about the stacking puzzle being too difficult or ambiguous, so I'm relieved you managed to do it. Glad you had fun.
