How does you game fit the theme?
I have never seen an axolotl in real life before, so i do not believe that they are real B))
(Other than that he can blow bubbles underwater and there is some weird technology here that i am sure does not exist either)

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I did not make the audio, everything else me and my friend made!

Love the pixel art as well as the CR TV filter that's on top of the game. The underwater movement is also pretty solid, which is something that not a lot of games can pull off well, so excellent job there! The one thing that I would like to see improved on this game is the health system as while you did a good job making it clear that I got hit by the enemy it does seem like I'm not really taking any damage. If the character is taking damage then I would suggest that you fine tune it a little bit to make it slightly more challenging as well as some UI elements that display the health you have. Overall this seems like you have a good foundation for a solid underwater platformer, great job!

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I didn’t really plan to have a health system, but struggled to find out what punishment for hitting enemies would be, so the red blinking and knock back is just a feedback-thingie when hitting enemies! I planned for longer and a few more levels, and a little story where the health would be explained but i did not have time for it sadly!

(I also really like how the water movement functions so thank you :)))

It was very fun to finally do some pixel art again, so thanks!
I also wanted to make Axel travel through some more levels but i did not have enough free time to make more, will definetly add some in the future!
Thank you for playing :DD

The screenshots are so aesthetically pleasing, do you plan to export it for other platforms/browser? (if so I'll definitely bookmark it and come back later)

Developer

I'm gonna make it playable in browser real soon :D

I fricking loved this game, it is very chill and cool to play, you and your friends did an awesome job ! tho if i have to say, it isn't really that adapted to the theme of the jam, but yet again it is only my opinion.. anyways great job (next time make it a bit longer if you can,  i was sad when it was over xD)

Agree with you hah! I just totally forgot about the jam until Monday night so I just wanted to make *somthing*  :P

Would also have loved to make it longer, had many more ideas but had to scope it down sadly!

Thanks for playing!!!
