How does you game fit the theme?
Everything is happening in Emily's mind, during her coma, so it is not real.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, except the audio. Sound effects are from Free Sound, and music from Free Music Archive.

Hard but fun

it is very very hard

but cool

Visually very nice, but the jumping was inconsistent for me and made the game incredibly difficult :/

Nice color scheme and pixel art

I loved the graphics. Hard to play, and my jump key stopped working. Other than that, Good job.

Nice concept, because I used the same concept for my game haha. It is definitely a bit trail and error which is hard to get right. The physics are also a bit wacky. Love the colors though!

Looks good and i like those kinds of games but jumping is really inconsistent

Very charming game. Took me quite a bit of experimenting to find out there is a double jump. Great submission!!

I really like the design / artstyle of this game and I really find the story to be quite interesting aswell.

However, I feel like it is way to hard / difficult especially in the beginning. There was no proper indication for when or where the platforms were going to fall down. If this was to be fixed or improved, I'd def like to play it again!

This game looks amazing. I'm in love with the colours and the pixel art so truly a fantastic job. I'm awful at platformers AND rage games yet despite this I really enjoyed it. I played this on my YouTube channel among others so you can see my live thoughts, ratings and reaction here! (PS. sorry I didn't get further!) Well done.

Wow, thank you! It's  amazing to see someone doing a gameplay of my game, i really enjoyed! The part you were dying, at the platform above the pigs, it was supposed to have spikes, looks like it didn't show up but killed you anyways, and i agree about making more visible that you died, thanks for the feedback and i really liked the video! :)

Nice graphics and sound effects ! But I would really love to know how to play the game tho

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I thought it wasn't necessary to give instructions, but the controls are not so intuitive, for example the jump and double jump on "w", so thanks for letting me know :)

Graphics are really nice, but the gameplay is very confusing. Why don't you jump with "Space" like in every other game? And there is literally no indicator of where there might be a hidden hole...

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I thought that making jump on the "w" key would make it a little easier for people, but it actually made it harder, and i agree about the hidden hole, so thanks for playing and letting me know of these problems :)

Well I tried. lol

This is how many times I dies just trying to get past the first part. Took me forever to figure out I could double jump, and even then never made it past the hedgehogs. :(

I like the graphics and color palette choice!

Developer

Thank you, i really appreciate your feedback! Looks like people are getting problems with the jump, that something i'd like to fix if i release a "after-jam" version one day, so thank you for letting me know that :)

Really nice, Love the concept of bringing together serious themes in with retro platformers, gives me Braid, Neversong and Celeste vibes, keep up the good work!
