Interesting idea.

The controls take a bit to get used to, but then are quite easy to understand-

For other players I can recommend to use some browser other than Firefox, as stated in the description.

I really liked the intent of the game! The combo'ing of various abilities and powerups is always a really fun idea. However, even with a good bit of messing around (including various browsers), I couldn't get the cast spell action to work. I was able to make the connections, but didn't see any visible changes to damage I was doing. Maybe this was because the cast action is the only thing affected by the upgrades/changes. Probably worth spending a bit more time thinking about how to simplify the controls a bit.

I liked the graphics, but with only one (and slow to warm up) spell, it felt difficult to tackle many enemies. Was the sidekick supposed to have a move, too?

I was not able to cast any spell cause RMB just seems to do nothing outside edit mode (in edit mode it resurrects), tried chrome and edge. Attack speed feels too low. Game overall feels a bit overcomplicated to me, I had to pause it to read the controls and mechanics description like several times. But the idea is really cool and pixel art is nice and simple. Great job making the game! :)

Congrats on finishing your game! Well done.

I think there's something here in your idea, but it just didn't hit for me. The idea that your resurrected enemies are shields and grow your power is very appealing and very necromancer like. However, the fire rate is just way too slow. If your game starts the player weak only to be able to power them up later, that weak state still has to feel good. As it is, it's slow and frustrating and not fun. Especially for a jam, when people may only spend a minute or maybe two in a game, they're might never see where your game truly shines. The controls also didn't quite make sense. I like that you could pause to reform your spells, but it wasn't very clear what qualified as a spell or if my connections had any impact on what I was doing. 

I wanted to like this more, but there just a few too many things in the way. I can tell you both put a ton of work into this here. No bugs (minus a weird audio clip that played only twice in a few minutes), and aside from the fire rate, the rest felt good. It feels like a unique take on this genre, too.

I really want to like it but I couldn't understand how this game works :(

I tried to read the description but I can only left click once every 10s and that's it. One time something happened when I right clicked but I have no idea what and why xD

Maybe some sort of tutorial explaining each monster and ability would benefit this game a lot.

Anyway, cool game nonetheless, good job!

While you are pressing down the space bar, you can connect the player to allies and allies to allies, using your right mouse button and drag and drop. After you build up the connections you can release the space bar. Then you can press right click and cast a chain reaction with all allies in the acyclic network you just build up.

Great idea, some polish would help and maybe shorter cooldown on the attack. Besides that it is fun.
