How does you game fit the theme?
Endless Horror Adventure of A Girl - This is a very early prototype in which a girl travels alone along a road before discovering that she is not alone and finding that she is being surrounded by bad souls. She must avoid the bad souls and gather hearts in order to survive the adventure. or she will become one of them.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes.

I like the visual and audio effects a lot, that gave it a spooky atmosphere.

For the gameplay I would have wishes more control of the character, varying the jump height depending on the length of a key press maybe.

Thanks for your valuable feedback.

Those sound effects and the music really made my heart thump. Probably didn't help that I had my volume on full lol. I like the premise of this one, and it clearly succeeds in selling you a horror experience. Nice work!

The character distortions were neat to see,  I'll admit I found myself just intentionally barreling through them so I could see what all could happen XD

Being able to grab onto a ledge and recover was a nice extra touch that helps make high score hunting funner/more fair.  If there was one thing I'd like to see added it'd be more variations in jump height for that teensy bit of added control.  For example tapping or holding the mouse button for slightly different arcs~

Cool game!  The controls felt pretty smooth (also really liked the grab the ledge mechanic when you almost make a jump).  The pits were more dangerous than the bad souls (wasn't sure about the penalty of hitting them/benefits of getting a heart).

Fun game, loved it.

Could you check mine out too.

Thank you!

the distortion for the player is cool but bleeds into new runs, and the pits are more threatening then the main gimmick, the background effects are nice. i would've liked a indication of how many bad souls that you can tank are left (a health bar of sorts). finally the bad souls and/or hearts can just spawn on top of you.

Poster looks like The Thing reference, that's cool :) Game is pretty atmospheric, but i kept confuse myself with the clones and control are a bit messy (character jump on left/right keys too, that feels strange). Good work!

Definitely one of the more atmospheric endless runners I've played. Nice work!

Ya, I know 😎🙂

Had lots of fun playing it!

Pretty nice game but a bit simplistic. I really dig the effects though ! If you ever come back to the game it could be nice to add jump height and platform graphics

Good game, at the beginning it was a little confusing so maybe adding some kind of tutorial would be nice. Other than that it was good!

Good game.....wish the camera would follow the horizontal movement of player.

Simple game but I love the thematics of it with the clones spawning all over really cool idea!

I like the artwork of the main character, and the early to middle part of the run felt reasonable.  The distribution of the generation of the platforms, hearts and bad souls felt fair. The location if where items drop could be refined further, as occasionally a bad soul or a heart can drop directly onto the player.

The jump control was very responsive at the start of jumps. However, it always jumps to a specific height. This makes it difficult towards the end, as the player character was too far to the right-hand side to reasonably react to gaps. This made it a gamble between jumping early in case the next platform is very short or jumping later in case the platform is very high.

Having a a variable jump height (short button press for short hop, long button press for larger leaps) and a method of slowing down would help mitigate this.

For slowing down, I initially thought that the bad souls could subtract points and slow down the player. However, this may defeat the purpose of your story element of avoiding bad souls, so perhaps a different item drop may be needed or have the player position fixed whilst speeding up the rate that the platforms pass the player.

It will be interesting to see how this game develops and what you decide to do with it.
