You start totally alone, by the end of the game you are definitely not alone.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all of the code from scratch for the jam with the exception of the 3rd person controller. Assets are credited on the game page.

Interesting gameplay!! I'd make bigger hitboxes for the white guys you pick up, to make it smoother and faster to actually pick them up; in my opinion, the gameplay would be faster and more fun.

The controls are quite smooth, what 3rd person controller did you use?

Also, the camera movement feels great and the stack of human people is funny.

I liked it!

Very weird game in a good way, I enjoyed it a lot. I thought it was a good challenge. Once I learned the system I was able to beat it on my second attempt. It takes a careful ear for some of the sounds, but it’s definitely very doable as long as you make sure not to waste too much time running in a certain direction once you hear the pitch increasing.

The camera behavior was really interesting to me. Because you don’t have a lot of ground information to give context, I was really confused how the camera worked. Lol for a while I was CONVINCED that this was actually a parallax game with pre-rendered characters and faked 3D, but I finally realized that that is totally 3D and the camera apparently stays in a fixed position and just rotates to always look at the player. That’s very unique, but I didn’t mind that, I think it’s still completely playable like that and the disorientation adds to the surreal look of the game.

I did feel like I ran much faster lateral to the camera direction than I did when I ran parallel to it. That could have been an illusion, but it felt pretty dramatic. That would be the one thing I would change I think. Luckily, most of the movement that needed to be done was orbiting the camera with just a little bit of up and down movement, so it didn’t cause a problem.

All in all really nice and original game, great job. My game is linked below if you want to check it out.

The idea is fun and I did had fun playing it. I will say that it pretty fast gets very difficult, but else an interning little jam game. Well done.

INCREDIBLE! I was instantly hooked on the gameplay. Something about stacking mannequins is both addictive and hilarious to me. It was hard to tell though if I was moving or not since the floor has no texture. Great art style though.
