You start totally alone, by the end of the game you are definitely not alone.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all of the code from scratch for the jam with the exception of the 3rd person controller. Assets are credited on the game page.

Perspective is really challenging, missed the white guy several times. After some point there are so many red men. This makes the game more challenging and I liked it. Using audio like this is smart by the way.

 I definitely enjoyed this.

glad you enjoyed it!

So strange, but compelling! I really enjoyed my play through.

That was... Weird! But I must admit that a sound-based game is something really original! It is quite simple and need a bit of polish, but it doesn't feel like anything I've played before, and for that, kudos to you =)!

Developer

thanks and thanks for playing!

wow, i have never seen anything like this before the camera really messes you up so you have to rely on the sound, it looks and feels great, it sounds amazing too, a really creative entry!

Interesting and cool take on the theme

this idea is really interesting! does saving the humans add any additional help?

Developer

thanks for playing! Collecting the mannequins doesn’t add any additional help no, it just spawns another mannequin at a random spot. Thanks again!

Really interesting idea! Well done! I personally would have preferred that the sound goes higher frequency the closer you get to your target though.

Really unique game ! Love it

Thanks!

The use of sound frequency as a mechanic is fun, the bizarre camera perspective made it visually unique, and of course, the stacking is just bonkers. Definitely a memorable experience.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the comments! :)

Wow that´s a really nice and creative idea for the theme. I would´ve never thought of something like this, I like it!

The idea to use sound as primary mechanic was nice. The silly stacking of mannequins was fun.

Nice work on the sound design, the sound was not annoying and went well with the music.

With the blank floor and the camera rotations it was a bit hard to have a sense of where the play area was/how big it is/where does it stops and where the enemies are relative to me.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for your kind words. With the playing area you are quite right - it was something that occured to me that I know the spawn area so know roughly how far out max I can go but the player doesn't. It was difficult balancing that with the idea of not wanting any extra clutter in the scene like walls etc.. but understand it could be an issue. Thanks again.

I like the take on the theme! it also looks so funny when he stands on u lol. I think maybe an arrow towards your target may have been better since i did find it difficult to track them down. Otherwise Great Entry!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I understand it can be a bit tricky. I wanted to avoid arrows because this is essentially the only challenging game mechanic, - but I understand if people struggle. Thanks again

Quite unique and fun game.

This was oddly satisfying. The visuals are quite basic but the idea was cool.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I was indeed going for something that was both odd and satisfying. ;) Thanks again

Very fun little game. The camera angle got a bit weird after a while. It would have been better if it was higher frequency the closer you were instead of the other way round.

Developer

Thanks for playing. I went through several different camera angles/setups before settling on this one. Though I understand it is sometimes confusing! The idea behind having the frequency go down rather than up when searching is it made it less frantic/stressful to play. With it rising every time it felt quite intense, and I wanted it to be more of a relaxing thing to do. I do understand that rising is probably more logical though. Thanks again!
