The narrative and art direction fully complement the game design and the main mechanic of the game. The game is easy to pickup and feels really intuitive.  It also fits the theme perfectly. You guys should be proud of yourselves, well done!

Really interesting concept, nicely executed. Ramped up a little fast, but perhaps I'm just bad at it lol.

Nice idea, had a little trouble figuring out the monster. But had fun.

Quite unique take on the theme :) Very intuitive to learn, and great initial tutorial.

Really nice idea for a game.

Execution is also really nice making for a relaxing backdrop with tense moments as you try to weave monsters and ships to their respective destinations.

Enjoyed this one, great game!

Very innovative. The music, art, and gameplay are great. Maybe add some bonuses/upgrades that allow you to see if there are boats or monsters coming? Maybe add some boats with lights so you know they aren't monsters for variety (could do the opposite for some monsters).

This is like the 4th game I've played in the jam using light focusing in different ways. This is mine that does that also: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-8/rate/1675396

Thanks! We actuallly wanted to add more unique ships and monsters like for example a healing  boat, and we also wanted to make upgrades and "special" effects, but the time didnt alow us to. Great ideas from you too, thank you :)
