How does your game fit the theme?
Phoenix uses it internal fire to attack, but that drains him and he dies. But for phoenix death is only a beginning as it is resurrected from ashes.

I saw some of your screenshots on social media, and I was really wondering what the heck you were doing, and I must say that I LOVED IT!
The controls feel nice, the art is unique, the vfx are on point, and the explosions feel soooo satisfying!
Overall, fantastic game!
To improve it a little bit, I would maybe just add a counter of the remaining animals before going to the next stage.

I really like this game! I really like the orthographic 3D pixel art style! It would be better if there it told you what each attack did? It told me the controls which are good but if it said the advantages and disadvantages of the attack, it would of made it easier to play. because i was wondering why i kept dying when i spam K and X. although theres alot of explosions so yeah 10/ 10. keep it up!
Yeah I planed on doing that, but as you might have noticed I don't even have a main menu ;D so there was no time left. Thanks for playing tho :D

The audio and graphics are amazing, the game is a bit hard though. But overall, great game!
The game feel is amazing, and I think it is because of the good sound effects and the cool animations you chose. About the game design, it's original and well done. The only problem is that I felt a little lost at the beginning and it took me a while to understand what I had to do, mainly because I thought I had killed all the enemies in the first room but there was one lost in the left corner. But once I understood the game and what I had to do, it was really fun, it's a really good game!

Graphics are astonishing, especially the phoenix. Gameplay is fun but a bit hard for me to stay alive and kill animals

Fun game! Although I didn’t really catch how the game works. The audio really fits the game and the graphics are unique and really stylish. I couldn’t get past the second level but I enjoyed my time playing this!:D

In short: the phoenix has lives and fire. Fire is depleted each attack and when it runs out phoenix dies and get resurrected(-1 life and fire back to full).

Graphics and audio are amazing, the gameplay concept really fits the jam theme.
A bit unclear on how the health system works at first but you learn that quickly
What would help is some indication if there are any enemies left on the screen when you have like 1-2 left, because I couldnt leave the first room due to one enemy being hidden

Yeah I am bad at making tutorials so I am glad you figured the health system. And I planed arrows on edge of the screen pointing at the enemies, but I didn't have time. Maybe after the jam :D
