Visually and quirky music wise I wanted to like this but was super confusing. The full screen issue mentioned by other I think compounded the issues.
Hello! 👋
Overall: ✨ Great job overall! There was an issue with the UI scaling, as text overlapped when not in full screen.
Fun: 🎉 The game was engaging, but the shooting sound was a bit annoying (a squeaky kind of sound). A less high-pitched tone would work better.
Visual: 🎨 The visuals for some of the projectiles and particles were neat. The HP bar being attached to the player was disorienting; it would be better as part of a HUD.
Audio: 🎶 The music was great for the style of game, fitting well with the overall atmosphere.
Theme: 📚 The theme of projectiles having pluses and minuses was similar to my team's take, nice touch.
Other feedback: Fixing the UI scaling issue and adjusting the shooting sound would improve the experience by a lot!
Great job overall! 👏
thanks for your feedback. I am looking to improve my pixel art skills more in my upcoming games
Neat little shooter fun and simlple :)
i like the enemy sprite designs and it was fun to see how you made everything in the devlog video especially as a fellow Godot user :D
Small issue i have, not exactly with the game itself but more with how you’ve set the web build on your page, the window size doesn’t show the whole game so some stuff can shoot you from offscreen locations, you should either change the window resolution on your project page or tick the option for “fullscreen” so the game screen will have it’s normal window size.
Other than that it’s a nice little game and definitively got bonus points for the particle usage XD
Fun little game. You should look into adding collision for the bullets to give a little contextual feedback.
I can tell you really like unity's particle system.
