Hey guys!! I've made a small update to the game taking some of your advices:
- Added new gun sprites made by wonderful snoopethduckduck on itch.io
- You can now pick up new gun by pressing "E" near a new gun
- Yellow gun damage buffed from 40 to 100 :)
- Optimize footsteps, gun sprite depth and various small bugs

The concept of picking up the guns is interesting
When fighting with the enemy, I sometimes can’t free my finger to pick up the gun when walking wasd (e) or I will press the wrong button
If it is the button near the thumb, it may be good to pick up the gun-

跟敵人混戰時,我在走wasd的時候有時會空不出手指來撿槍(e)或我會按錯按鈕
如果是大拇指附近的按鈕可撿槍也許不錯-

I liked the different level designs you incorporated, and the approach to the theme was very unique. The art was cute. I think maybe an arrow pointing to enemies off screen would be helpful, similar to the dungeon exit!

Very cute and easy to get into. Although it was lacking some things, the experience felt polished.
You don't really need a button to discard the guns... just discard them if the player pick another gun using the E.
And definitely make the bigger gun deal more damage... they felt unbalanced.
Be careful with the volume of sounds that repeat too much... Like firing bullets... Try to keep them a little lower so they don't get annoying after a while...
The only thing really missing was a nice boss fight to finish the experience with a golden key.

Very well made and polished game, fun to play, for once not too hard :P Audio could use wome work, but it's ok.
I think the guns dissapearing after 10 seconds, while a clever idea, would be much better for the game as limited ammo instead (that's if you plan on finishing it later) - it's a bit annoying to run all the way back through the level to pick up a new weapon (though I realize that's part of the strategy, I'm just dumb :P).
Thanks for the advice, yeah because of the theme we made the gun disappear, we tried to spawn the next gun near the player. Glad you enjoyed it
Cute little game, nice visuals! I like the bullet patterns every gun has and the enemies! But there are things to note:
- The pause menu doesn't actually pause, so if a player wants to take a break, he'll be swarmed by enemies while on the menu;
- The SFX could work, but I would advise a pitch variation to the bullets sounds so it doesn't feel so repetitive. Also, different SFX for different guns would be welcomed;
- The player has a nice and simple hit flash effect and sound for damage feedback, i just wish the enemies had the same;
- The interaction button for picking a gun is too small because it stays above the gun. One way you could do it that I've made in past games, is to have a big text on the UI on the inferior part of the screen, sort of like Hollow Knight does at the tutorials.

everything work great and so polished, the only thing i wanted the big ball attack deal more damage to make it balanced with the other weapon. btw great job.

Cute little game and a solid bullet hell. Somewhat on the easy side with the blue weapon seemingly being much better than the others, but still some good fun, allbeit just a short game. Maybe pitch down the shooting sound and add more levels and you have yourself a really cute and fun mini-bullet-hell. Nicely done :)

I loved the game! It's cute, fun and at the right dificulty
And the level design (Exept for the second room wich is literally a empity room full of enemies) is nice!
The Blue and the White gun are super fun to play, but I feel the yellow one should deal more damage

Cute graphics and I like that each gun has a different shot pattern. I also like that you added an arrow indicator for the exit, it's helpful especially for the big maps.
I would remap the E/F keys to the spacebar. Since movement is with WASD, it feels awkward to let go of the index finger and temporarily stop moving when I'm trying to pick up or drop a gun. I'd also remap it to a single key and just have it detect if you have a gun or not.

Snappy gameplay and great execution. The guns feel really responsive and satisfying to shoot.

Very smooth. Slimes also had a super stardew valley feel to em, which I am into.
Kudos for the little indicator arrow if the stairs are off screen too. Nice polish.

Cool game, I like how you start with no weapon in each level so you have to dodge a little before you began attacking.
