Immortal link lol.

The exploration was fun, I can tell the inspiration from the original legend of zelda game and the music was top notch!

I do have some minor pet peeves however,

the E key doesn't interact when pressed,

combat is a little stiff,

I couldn't figure out how to close the map,

but other than that it was a nice experience.

Thanks! The music was all created by a guy called Visager. I recommend looking up his stuff online. It's really good. I hope to make my own music for when I do an updated version of this game. I appreciate the feedback. I'll have to check the E key. Some of the keys did seem messed up at least in the web version. Combat was definitely a weak point. I focused on it the least. And I do realize I probably didn't make the "back" button obvious in the controls. You would've just had to press K/X to close the map.

I'm glad you enjoyed it overall. And actually, I was more inspired by Link's Awakening and the Oracle games, but definitely the original one is great.

Nice game. The old retro style game is pretty neat.  Noticed that the player doesn't die even when hit on last health but didn't mind it since it was still fun to run around and smack the bad guys.

Thanks, I purposely left out the fail state due to notices of difficulties and I wanted the users to be able to enjoy looking around and trying everything. I'm glad you enjoyed the retro style and had fun with it.

Ah it's a cool game! Been a very long time since I played that style of game so was very nice.

Developer

Thanks. I am currently working to improve it even more and make an improved DX version. If you're interested, definitely keep an eye out on my page and I will be posting updates about it (hopefully).

I really like Zelda's stylish games...I get some bugs like the player doesn't die.....and sometimes the sword touch enemies and the player get hurts....but in general it's very good well done.
