I really want to try this game but it doesn't work for me, doesn't get any input from my keyboard and I don't have a controller
Seems weird, did you try both webGL and downloaded versions of the game?
Controller controls are bad right now so i'd suggest against it (never had a chance to try them, there's no deadzones and navigate the menus poorly).
Awesome game really liked the gameplay but i dont see nothing about the theme :/
The idea for the game was to have modifiers that change how the game plays, with the twist that they're told in reverse (hence the game lies. so for example "you move slower" means faster movement). Unfortunately due to time limitations we don't have too many impactful modifiers and we delivered them quite poorly as the menus were rushed.

Hey, I got 1500 score! It's a nice little game. I think it would be better if the player gets a hint on what's inside the weapon box.

Really solid game with many types of enemies as well as weapons! The graphics are nice, the music is nice, And most importantly, Its really fun! I get how it works with the theme but i didnt feel like the modifiers made any impact, but maybe that was just because i had too much fun to notice them! Great Work!

I played the game now for a while. The sound fit very well and the grapics are cool. I think the game fits the theme, because I think the characters are taking extra lives off me when they come through. That's why I've seen that I do not let anyone through, but once one has escaped, nothing happened :D
I would love it, if you could try out my game as well.
Actually that used to be a thing during development, but we ended up removing damage when enemies leave the arena since it can feel unfair when RNG decides to not drop weapons (or explosive weapons with the no explosions modifier). :)

A very fun and entertaining game with some funny graphics(AKA the Brackeys heads). Really enjoyed it and it made me laugh, but I do agree with others that it doesn't have a very strong correlation with the theme. Nevertheless, Great job!

Wow, this game is a blast (haha). Seriously the gameplay is just fun, the graphics and sounds are just gorgeous too. Maybe this game isn't the most serious in regards to the theme, but I just had a lot of fun playing it.
Yeah the idea was to have a platformers with modifiers that impact gameplay and laving the game tell them reversed (hence lying). Unfortunately we ran out of time before being able to work on really impactful modifiers and the menus don't really deliver it too well either.
I still get fooled by it at times when reading the modifier list (especially the "no explosions" modifier) but i agree it'd delivered poorly.
