I actually liked the game. Unfortunately it gets repetitive after some time (probably because there's no sounds and/or music). As I read through the comments, it seems like not everyone keen on reading game description before playing so I think it would be better if the text appeared in-game (for example: on the start and after death). Generally game is nice.

For me it's actually kind of nostalgic because of simple but fun concept, like the games that I used to play when I was a child.

Good job!

The concept was interresting but saddly i couldnt understand what to do to increase the score.
I saw you did it in a few hours, that still good, keep it up : )

While I think the concept is interesting, I did struggle with understanding what is happening and what I need to do. To fix that, I guess adding some pause or transition between new game should do the trick. Once I stopped, I see a small label "Your score is ..." which doesn't really help me and appears only if I stay still. Maybe moving it somewhere outside of the playing area would improve the understanding. Second thing is transition between game end and new game. Once I touch the border - the game immediately restarts. Even if that is a design decision then at least a visual and/or audio feedback would be required. Maybe even display somewhere a score at the end of the game.

One thing that I absolutely loved was the water effect when the ball enters/exits. Awesome work there.

Thanks for the reply. The game is far from finished (I did it in 5/6 h)
- I need to add some bounce in impact with the ball and 2 specific audio (1 for when you score + 1 and another when you "just bounce")

- Create a ladderboard with each score (Complete new scene)

- Add the score in upper

- Add some live  system (Maybe) with a certain impact a specific audio to say 'Hey you got hurt'

I hope you like to play a bit. :)

For the water system. I made a git repo for Godot 4.3 if you are interested (Check the link in my Mastodon). It's far from finished but it work
