For some reason it stopped loading for me at 89%
Don't use Firefox, firefox is a problem
and you will have better experience with the desktop version
Not sure why Firefox is a problem. But downloaded game did work. I liked it. Tho, it could have been better if I could choose where to attack. Positioning yourself when you have a lot of speed is pretty hard thing to do. The text goes pretty fast for me would be better if there was some way on re-reading it. But generally pretty good and simple game!
Fun game. I've just one little peak. Do not make swimming a learnable skill but a basics skill, i didn't understand why i can just in water but couldn't swim, it is a necessary skill at the very beginning of the game (Do not "augment" the time in the game by not allowing basics skill, the first minutes of a games are the most important to catch the player attention).
Thanks for the review and your kind word.
about the swimming skill, It was a decision we took so that the player feel a changement in his playing style, and its a skill we can buy really early.
A really great game! The concept is unique (at least to me) and felt fresh. Reminded me, a little bit, an underwater level in Sega game "Flintstones" :D I absolutely loved the water splash effect when you dive in/out of the water. The roguelite elements were awesome. Adds desire to continue playing and variation to the game style + gives you more room for future content which is awesome. Kudos for tutorial, it was great and gave clear understanding of what to expect and how to play. I did encounter a big downside tho... At the first big treasure there is like a performance drop. Later in the game same thing happens. When the player dies the slow effect also feels like a performance drop. In theory could be my local issue but maybe worth debugging. The audio & sfx were also very fitting.
Maybe at some point you will decide to add some lighting and IMHO that could bring visuals to a whole next level but maybe your game vision is good as it is. Something to experiment with :)
Great job on the game.
Thank you very much about your kind word,
We saddly failed to make the framerate constant, we thought about that the last moment.
About the lightning, we didnt thought about it, and clearly it could have done a good glow up
Thanks you very much
