How does your concept engage in the jam's themes?
We believe that our concept engages in the jams themes because throughout the game you will be repairing different vehicles in more environmentally friendly ways.

Use of Theme / Inspiration
By both restoring older vehicles and focusing on more environmentally friendly means of transport, the cat mechanic exists in a world that is definitely better, but still not too far off from what we could accomplish. We want to emphasize the ways that humans can work alongside animals as equals, and normalize the blending of the "natural" and "unnatural" that would give us more interaction with and respect for nature. We also have been taking a lot of inspiration from transportation systems and greenhouse gas emissions.

Cat game! Cat Game!! Wahoo!

I like the idea of blending the natural and unnatural (and I am curious if you'll talk about domestication and cats in urban spaces as well) and the focus on green transport is great. Paper prototypes and level layout looks great. I am having a bit of trouble understanding how the puzzles function, but there's a lot of promise in the concept.

+ I'm also excited to see how you'll develop the world!

This looks great! I love the idea of exploring the theme of greener transportation and longevity of vehicles, through your journey as a cat.

The scope seems reasonable, depending on how many puzzles you envision. The block puzzle is a solid mechanic to iterate on, however I was wondering if you had any idea in the onset as to how the game would evolve, outside of just the narrative development of talking to different animals along the journey.

Deciding to do this in Godot is also quite commendable. I myself have been looking at the engine, and trying to jam with it is probably the best way to explore and get more familiar with it.

Excited to play the project!
