Very well done! This is exactly how I would image Minesweeper to be if it were on a early console or computer.

The gameplay was exactly as I expected and I remember playing minesweeper a lot way back when and its always a good challenge. I managed to get to the victory screen on your game on my second try :) The layout is clean and easy to navigate and you did a great job of recreating the mechanics. Having colours definitely improves on the original but due to my colour blindness I think making the red more of a dark brown would enhance the contrast against the green. Finally, I just want to say that the start screen with the loading cart was a really nice touch!

Thank you for the review! I wish I could take credit for the cart loading at the beginning, but that's actually part of the TIC-80 program itself, which is what I used to make this. Thank you for the color feedback too!

Nice minesweeper clone. But for me, it's too difficult without chording... :/

I don’t know what a pico-8 is, but the UI is great. It reminds me of really old, nameless games I used to play as a kid.

Exactly like minesweeper, it would be a good game to get if I had a pico-8.
