Nice game.

I like that there is a lot of different enemies to beat and potios to craft. It is great that the enviroment also changes.

Unfortunately I didn't get far because I was so bad at dodging the fast projectiles of some enemies, which is pitty, because I would like to see more from the game. The other thing is that it would be nice to know what does every property does - for example I have no idea if "toxic" is good or bad for me.

I still had some fun plaing it and with some more ballancing it can be even better.

Good job!

Thank you so much for trying it out! The truth is, it’s a bit difficult.

Toxic, as well as Cold and Heat, are negative effects, and the bars fill up depending on the area you’re in. If a bar fills up completely, you start losing health based on whether you’re poisoned, frozen, or overheated.

A neat game! Though as others have mentioned the resolution definitely has some scaling issues which hides a lot of the game. It was a good concept though!

it has a new concept and it was good

Thank you so much for trying it out and letting me know that you understood how to manage the materials from enemies to create elixirs—whether beneficial, toxic, or both.

It was interesting

To be honest, I really like the graphics and the idea of the game, but it's too challenging for me.

Developer

Yeah, it’s a bit of a challenge even for me 😂😭

Nice fun and enjoyable game. Good work.

The game is really fun, I liked the sound effects and the visual design of the game.

Animations could be better but I like the style and game is really fun!

Gave it a go, the resolution problem is a big one at the moment.

However, if you made your own assets, the tilesets seem pretty tidy and UI has contrast while being colourful and "usable" (I died before being able to use the potion UI and the rest was hidden due to scaling issue).

Once you fix the Camera and UI, the only things I think need work based on what I could see, are the bullet speed and I feel like for this kind of speedy dodge and shoot game that it would feel nicer if the character sprites had animations.

Thanks for making it.

Thank you so much for trying it out and for the detailed feedback! Yeah, the resolution issue really got on my nerves, and I think it’s caused by itch.io and the way it scales up my canvas in Unity. Other friends tested it and didn’t have any issues, but if you lower the zoom in your browser when you are in fullscreen, I think everything becomes visible.

That said, as a game developer, I don’t like offering this kind of workaround, but after working nearly 13 hours a day for almost three days to finish it, I can forgive myself—though I’m open to any feedback.

I also know the animations could have been much better, but time was tight.

Still, I really appreciate you trying it out, and good luck with the rest of the game jam!

I've been using Godot so it won't compare fully but, in Godot you have the Camera Node (Class/Object) that has a zoom option, and then in the Project Settings menus there are more options for how the Game Window is rendered, scaled and zoomed to the screen.  You may have tried to look for this kind option in Unity, but I hope it helps.  If you can't find it in the UI, maybe there are scriptable options that can be accessed as well.

Nice game! I enjoyed playing through it and it was a good concept for the theme! Some of the enemy projectiles are quite fast firing and accurate making it hard to dodge in time. This could be me just being bad but it made for a lot of deaths haha. Well done on the game!

Developer

Thank you very much for playing my game <3

Good luck on the gamejam

Developer

For all of you having resolution issues, try lowering the zoom in your browser and then go fullscreen. Sorry, but I can't quite figure out how it scales up based on my Unity canvas. In Unity, everything works perfectly in free aspect ratio, but on Itch.io, sometimes it does whatever it wants.

It's worth working on the visuals and animations, but overall the game is interesting

Developer

Thank you very much for your reply, but I didn’t have the time to focus more on the animations.

I did everything—game idea, code, graphics, and music—on my own in just three days, working over 11 hours a day, since I’m also managing my main game project that I want to release on Steam. I know I could have done much better on this, but still, I appreciate your advice and the fact that you played my game!

Developer

Also, great effort on your game! You have very nice and vibrant colors, and the overall gameplay is interesting and unique. Good luck with the game jam!
