Great concept and artwork for the game! However, I think making the area where you can see the car larger would really improve the game play.
The art style is awesome, but the skulls are way too hard to avoid, and I didn't really understand what throwing stuff out of the car was actually doing
Loved the idea but some trouble playing it properly. Good job.
I love the graphics, but I was pretty confused at the start cause there was a lot going on. I like the idea though and the music was good too! Nice job
Very cool atmosphere with the art style/soundtrack! As others have mentioned, the map is relatively small and zoomed in quite a bit, but these are things that are easy to tweak.
Nice game overall!
EDIT: You can actually already zoom out the map with the buttons, didn't realise that haha
If you could zoom out further, the monster was more slidey (so you could bait him with turns) and you were able to recover from hitting an obstacle, itd be pretty playable
Liked the look of the game enough to attempt it multiple times, but alas I had difficulties driving.
Wow, I love the artwork and style of this! Everything, from the palette to the animated skulls, has some beautiful a e s t h e t i c vibes :D
However, I had some difficulties driving on the small map and I ended up dying a lot of times, even if the controls seemed to work fine :(
I have no idea what I'm doing. :(
For a driving game, only being able to see where you're going through a tiny dashboard viewscreen feels really frustrating. I eventually figured you can zoom out, but there are still too many things going on to be able to get what's happening. I kept dying without really understanding why.
I really liked the art and the vibe of the game. I just wish I knew how to play it effectively.
I hope I don't sound too harsh. You all made a game in a single weekend and that's a huge accomplishment. Congrats and keep learning and making games, especially if they're going to be about
