The art was really cute and the game was fun, even though my skills in platformers are terrible... I still enjoyed it. I'm pretty sad that there was no music or sounds, but very grateful that there were no deaths counter... I think I would have cried seeing that number, but it might have been a funny addition XD
Had a lot of fun with this one, I just saw that the webgl was bugging with sound. Sadly never got to hear anything while playing it but you did great! Tiny nit-pick is that it'll be great to have some instructions in the description or at the start but other than that. A great little experience! - Mato
amazing game! the art style is so cute and the game itself is cool too, good job!
Thank you!
I really liked the character aesthetic. character itself seemed nicely fluid, even if the interaction with the ground was not ideal for me.
For feedback, adding music and sound effects would really help make the game immersive and connect the player to the action, movements, and environment. the silence in the game was very noticeable. The very low friction/slippery ground could have been tuned down, though maybe it was the intent to focus on precision and therefore...punishing. I liked that you had frequent checkpoints and used multiple mechanics.
Thank you! It actually does have audio in the desktop build, but WebGL doesn't seem to work with it for some reason.
I enjoyed the lighting and animations. As others have stated it felt very "slippery" and therefore was extremely challenging. Enjoyed it just would like to see the controls a little more hammered out.
Thank you for the feedback!
The controls feel very floaty.
Really like the look! Falling off the narrow slippery platforms was too frustrating for me to keep playing for very long though.
I'd say pretty alright, it however does have a lot of issues such as unforgiving level design with a bit too slippy controls, the art not being all that appealing and the story not really being engaging. It is really flawed but I believe it would've been a "better" product if it were to focuss more on a more appropriate difficulty curve, less narrow spike walls and others. I think the first 3 worlds of Super Meatboy would be good inspiration in case you dont want it to be a precision platformer.
