I guess we came both short in terms of what a game is lmao.

It is haram to gamble :(

unfortunate.

does the updated version feature more content?

the timing is flawed honestly

The variation lies within the difficulty increase. I could however add days with variation in case I wish to expand upon the ideas here.

The description has been updated for a more thourough guide. It is a bit conventional to let players figure out the game's mechanics themselves within the genre but I suppose that's not all that ideal for a jam game.

what to do when the ball is on the right hall of the first screen as is seemingly stuck?

pretty novel, would love to have it be turned into a polished experience

honestly would love an expanded version.

Cute and silly little game.

I can't seem to get in the fourth level, quite a shame.

really nice but it can often feel very claustrophobic.

Thank you very much! I appreciate the comments here a lot. It means a lot to me to know that there are people who found stuff me and friends of mine and did for shits n giggles. I may rest well tonight

Cute art but my condolences on the state of the game

Ironically it was one of the easier parts personally. Maybe because I made a mockup

well, I had full screen in mind when designing that game. I forgot that Web doesn't give you that by default, my bad!

Nice art and controls but the level design is really obnoxious when the timer encourages you to go fast while a plethora of sections ask you to slow down.

My grandmother died from cancer

what

Good. See you at any livestream of people playing cozy autumn games/next year.

The fact you actually made it on a homemade engine still is a mind boggling thought. While the final product is well... What I said prior, you really should give yourself a pat on the back as you deserve it

It's been a year, my man Servbot.  You've been cooking well this year around. Also, curse you for putting in a wojak lmao

Game name buddies! also, I enjoyed the wage slave humor at the end

Font/Engine Buddies!!!

Nice game. It is a bit wonky physics wise and the player didn't properly load when I tried to run it the first time, it could've also benefited from an actual install guide since it feels pretty uncomforting getting AV software on my skin while trying to find out as to what to do.

Not gonna lie, it is really impressive by scratch AND gamejam standards combined.

Not gonna lie, the moment I saw Maxwell as the protagonist with the interact icon being an homage to mario & luigi, I knew I was in for a treat. Amazing game.

I feel like this game has tried to expand on the cookie clicker formula as much as you can. It sadly still is only barely above your average cookie clicker.

hells yeah

Instances like the finnish comment and the too huge quantity of comments were intentional (I found showing the default Godot scroll bar to be hilarious). I appreciate the feedback and also: Coffee is heavily associated with both Cozy (the act of simply sitting down and enjoying yourself) and also Autumn (with the seasonal drink Pumpkin spice late), it is practically a guaranteed hit, lol.

Genius combination, this should be expanded upon

I love the art

The music made me feel really cozy

A really charming experience, I just do wish that there was some way to communicate what you need to do. While I found everything out on my own, I felt a bit alienated by the lack of direction

Amazing game. It is pretty distant from cozy and can be confusing at times (coming from a Castlevania fan) but I adore the visuals

I like the ideas but the wording on the first time requests do feel ambigious. Also, nice visuals

Wasn't really a fan of the artstyle but it's an enjoyable experience. Also 10/10, Gundam

Pros:

-enjoyable music

-fitting soundeffects

-fairly polished on a visual level

Cons:

-gameplay and appeal is crippled by the 1bit aesthetic (for example, some spikes blend in with the background, causing some unfair deaths. The main character blends in with background elements. The the tiles would benefit from a pattern, giving the character sprites black outlines would help prevent the blending and changing from pure 1 bit to having elements monochrome would help with the overall enjoyment)

-The Gameplay has no real stable ground (before elaborating, keep in mind that it comes from someone, who stopped after 1-29) The main mechanic of box spawning feels barely fleshed out with the only secondary mechanic being the doors. While it is meant to be a puzzle game, going into every level instantly knowing as to what to doesnt really help it, especially when the majority of this game's challenge comes from moreso precision platforming than what's expected. I wouldn't really mind it if there was more diversity (maybe boxes, that have special attributes. E.g a box that moves linearly would help with both styles of gameplay).

While there are some more flaws, these two are the most noteworthy of the bunch.

heya, uh. In case you're looking for someone to cover the art section of the game, I'd be willing to assisst. In case of interest, my discord tag is:
