The game is well done at first glance ! I didn't have the time to play it a lot.
I saw that there is apparently a lot of content, about 5h (!), I don't even know how you managed to do so much, even with RPG Maker !
I kind of regret that there is so much content when it could have been more polished ! Especially in the context of a jam I doubt many people have the time to test a 5 hour game.
I mostly explored the first cave and I got lost a lot because the walls are all the same and there are very few visual cues in the setting. But
But overall very nice !
Okay, i have some fun first 10 minutes. I found a pole, killed goblin, jumped over the water to little room with chest. Pole vanished after using, so i have no pole to jump back and i've got trapped %)
I've played further. Nice! Needs map/minimap/compass. I like music. You need some more hi-res sprites :)
limitations of the engine for the most part although a few of the sprite images can be upgraded a little will eventually.
This game is pretty good, complex and big, although how big I don't know yet since all I did was escaping the intial dungeon, retrieving the ship and roamming the town and the very surrounding area, between the actual surrounding, the well everybody's talking about I have not found yet (I probably just didn't pay attention) and the ship destination there's probably quite more of it at very least.
I already liked the item usage for navigation (rope, pole), it was pretty cool finding a healing spell in a seemingly mundane bookshelf and I really like that the game let me freely roam inside probably too hard for now territory.
at the moment there is about 5 hours of content, although I do push out updates when I can
I don´t know how easy it is to do 3D stuff with RPG Maker, but I think this game is quite a little achievement there. But I absolutely hated sitting through the unskippable computer generated voice at the beginning. Please don´t do that and value my time.
i died. minor complaint on blurry items with texture bleed.
As far as RPG Maker games go this is a decent one. However, I have severe issues with the perspective here. The camera should be moved further back so your face isn't planted directly into the walls. It makes it really hard to orient.
The perspective makes the game harder to navigate than it should be.
