I completed the game.
There might be something weird with the ending message board, I felt like the first time(s) it somewhat froze my game instead of displaying the ending credits, possibly I had not defeated all the enemies and picked all the energy during these previous runs and the last time I did.
This is a fun, proper crawler with a combat system which really fits a game jam. Thanks for sharing.
Good idea for the game. I enjoyed the combat system although it is hard to tell when to parry the first time.
I didn't see the theme.
Sometimes it helps to spell it out in the description or in-game.
I beat down some robots.
They beat me down.
I didn't get very far.
I think you have something here, but it just needs a little more polish. Movement/fps was sluggish, like the others said, but I had no trouble with the combat, which I really enjoyed. It's very strategic, it pays to wait to parry and refill your energy even if you could rush the enemy down, because you NEED energy.
I got stuck when I reached a terminal down a corridor eventually, interacted with it and the game locked up :(
The terminal is the end of the game, it also blocked my games a couple of times, and the last time I tried it displayed the ending credits either. One thing I wonder is if defeating all the enemies and picking all the energy before accessing the terminal did the trick.
Looks interesting and I would love to see an optimized build as the performance and low frame rate is what is really holding this back. Also the wheely animation seems to be locked at like 10fps so it increases the overall sluggish/low fps impression.
Cant tell what exactly is going on. The CPU is idle but the GPU is peaked out at 100%. I noticed some motion blur so maybe you should check the post processing settings (its just a wild guess).
Great atmosphere.
looked great, but couldn't play. movement was very sluggish, attack/shield didn't ever trigger.
