  • I love this! It's so out of the box and the maps are just adorable! I can totally see this being expanded to a full length game. :)

I played your game on a stream with my toddler, she loved your maps! I always love your games, so cute and cool! (don't forget to vote, it's the last day to enter a vote! :D )

Hey Knightly44 !
I enjoyed a lot your entry. It was a nice fun little game.
I was so disappointed that there is only the spring part. I wanted to do the others one too.
All the custom art is great. Did you draw it yourself ?
The battle system is interesting. Being able to change the weather could open up some cool strategy if you continue to work on that game.
I've managed to be stuck on the first spring map. At the right of the spawn there is a patch of flower (sunflower if I remember correctly?) You can walk on it, but you can't get out and have to restart.

Nice entry ! Stay safe !

very nice game! Well done! But in the Spring-part i went to the sunflowers and then the game stuck. I couldn't move anymore! I had to quit the game, sad

The concept was really intriguing! It was a hint at a deep and complex system and story.  I kind of wish moving was a little smoother. I know you wanted to avoid mistaken moves, but that drawback is small compared to the feeling of a weight on your feet.

Boss battle was a little confusing, but I got it in the end. Ahhhh just one season!? Hope to see the idea fleshed out and smoother.

Very cute art! Love the battlers and am looking forward to the rest.

Puzzles were too slow though... I get the solution but the end is a few minutes away. The pause between moves and the turn switch only add to this, so going back to the start of a room takes half a minute (wonder if you could have more actions per turn...). Also think the game warrants shorter battles but more enemies? Not sure yet...

(it also seemed Spring's spawn could heal substantially between turns, which was a bit frustrating)

Glad you got something even with all the busy IRL stuff!

Love the unique art! There are still a few tiles in the spring map that you can get stuck on, but overall an interesting and ambitious concept of a turn-based tactics-system!

I was a bit disappointed when it was over, you got me wanting more.  You have a really unique art style and it's been inspiring watching you improve with every jam. I can instantly recognize your games now just from the screenshots. Good job, Knightly.

The colorful art is definitely the highlight of this game, I love it. The turn-based movement and puzzle elements are a good gameplay hook, to the point where I think the traditional combat kinda got in the way of it. The setting and story going on is really intriguing and it left me eager for more.

Thanks so much for the feedback!  I'll try to make the combat better so that it'll integrate better if I decide to continue working on this!
