Love the winter/christmas-y music! The art is nice, and the falling snow is a great addition - helps set the mood.

I'm not sure how to unselect a building that I've selected from the right menu (if thats possible) - it would be nice to be able to do that, so you could check and compare the stats of your different options (or maybe just showing the stats as a tooltip when you hover would work better).

Overall, a very enjoyable game! Good job.

Thanks for playing! I'm sorry about not being able to unselect buildings, it would've taken too much time out of the jam - I wanted more gameplay before I made little additions like that.  Cheers :)

I really enjoyed this one!  It has an interesting blend of high score while managing resources and space.

Overall, I think it was well executed, though I wish I could cancel and pick the other option after picking one. usually the game ended because I foolishly picked an ice rink and having nowhere to place it. That led to me creating all of my town from left to right, top to bottom, which felt like a cheaty way to make sure everything fits and doesn't look very nice.

It absolutely fits the theme in a great way! (and also huge props for including the snowman, ha!) The gameplay is 100% tied to the tiny town, it's a great use of the theme.

For fun, I'm a bit on the fence. I enjoyed it for a little while, but I wish there was more. I'm not entirely sure what "Aesthetics" did for my town, maybe giving that score a more prominent role could add to the fun factor.

For innovation, I scored it well. It's a creative take on the theme, and I love the ideas you had. I like how some buildings take up more space than others, and you need to plan accordingly. It's got some cool ideas I haven't seen much of before, and you did a great job there.

The graphics are adorable, and I love the designs for each of the structures. I like the snow particles over the screen! It definitely adds to the scene.

The music is also great. I really like the ambiance it sets!

I don't think this game had much in the way for humor, which is fine.

And all of it comes together to set a great mood. The cheerful music, the snow particles on the overlay, it all just fits and makes for a real pleasant time. Superb work setting up the scene!

Great job.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I should've made the info page more clear, but it tells you what everything does. (Aesthetics increases your overall bonus income for the town!)

Thanks for playing :)

Fantastic game. I loved it! I finished with 1537611g in the treasury - but what matters more was the aesthetics

Thank you! Glad to see someone got a score higher than mine 👀

I like the choice between two buildings. It takes away from me having to explore an entire menu of building and just focus between the two i got in front of me. Thanks for the game my city building cousin! :P

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Cute little game. It urked me a bit that you can’t see what effect a building/object has on the town until you click it, and that you can’t cancel after picking it.

Developer

Thanks! I know cancelling would be helpful, but I didn't have enough time. Sorry :(

Great concept!  Might've been a bit too large in scope since so many entities have to be able to interact with each other.

It was really fun to play and find combos. Most of building don't care where you place them and it makes strategic potential less. And few questions:

Why can't I cancel selection?

What does aestetic?

Thanks for playing! (If you check the Info page, you can see how the game works - aesthetics increases your overall income)

As for cancelling the selection, it was a game jam, so I couldn't add in everything I had planned, sorry!
