Its pretty cool to see the animals come to life once they drop onto your planet. Imo the instructions could be a bit more clear, as I was a little confused as to what I was supposed to do/what everything does. Trying not to squish your people can be a little tricky, but fun. Good job :)

Interesting game! I played it on stream, here's the VOD! : https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1117396938

Overall, I think this game has an interesting premise, and was very original! I enjoyed it, but it seemed a bit slow and confusing at times. There are some minor oversights like dark red text on a dark green field. (which is pretty hard to read)

It feels more like a "small world" than a "tiny town".  though those two themes are a bit similar.

I feel like if it had a bit more direction, it would be a lot more fun. I know I've been extremely critical so far, but it seemed a bit directionless. Does the people chopping down trees make a house spawn, or is it all RNG? I'm not sure if anything I do matters except make the asteroid hit the "long slab-lookin' things" Letting the player know exactly what they are doing is pretty important.

As for innovation, I think this game is very creative. It's most certainly a unique idea!

The graphics are simple and get the job done. My only complaint is the dark red text on a dark green field.

I like the music! It's very nice.

The rocks crushing people and destroying things is kinda funny. That's all I have for humor though.

I like the mood. The 'world building' and logic that this game holds is pretty fun and charming

All around, I think there are a few things to improve, but it's a good time. Nice work!

Thanks for the detailed feedback!  I've always been terrible at telling the player how to play, and I should probably jam out a tutorials to get me in the habit!  People chopping trees does spawn houses, yep.  People mining stone spawns "walls" (definitely the worst art in the game lol).  I struggled a lot with direction, so you're right!

Nice unique mechanic. I like it! I wish there was more interactions of the falling objects. And I wish there was a breather after "X" items. But, I did something right... cause I finished! :)

Thanks for playing!  I feel this game could have been better balanced in a million different ways, haha!  SPOILERS: There are some secret interactions.  People have a hunger meter that slowly ticks down and they can starve to death.  They can eat bushes or bunnies.  Bunnies and Slimes both eat bushes, too, though.  If a bunny eats a bush and is satiated enough, it will spawn another bunny.  Bushes and trees will spawn children every once in a while, too.  Houses will spawn new people, though I think it spawns away from the house which makes it hard to tell.

Thank you for posting this! I didn't really understand what was happening - but now I do and can actually strategize lol. Great concept!

I really need to make tutorials  haha...

I find the idea of the objects falling down from the sky not just being a visual aesthetic choice, but a physical, tangible in-world event that can cause people to get squashed by stones falling down on them really humorous.

My original inspiration was circular tetris using buildings as blocks, but I couldn't figure that out haha!
