pretty solid game! platforming felt good, and the coyote time helped with game feel a lot. i just wish there was a bit more feedback to help playability, like a drop shadow or something in the background to help me tell where i was looking

thanks for playing and also I was kinda new to gdevelop's 3D mechanism so I spent half the jam coding the platforms

For sure! Pat yourself on the back then, it's not easy figuring out engine's mechanisms during a game jam.

Developer

thank you

I couldn't find the objective in level 2, but I appreciate that there are multiple levels. Since this is just a jam game, it might have been a good idea to let players access levels 3 and 4 even if they haven't beaten level 2, just in case there are issues like this. I thought the player was felt good to control and I had fun while playing.

Developer

sorry to hear that

I wasn't aware gdevelop was capable of any 3d, cool.

as the others said, sides and bottom of platforms killing the player is a bit weird, and the leap of faith on level 2 is pure evil xd

I didn't manage to get past level 3 since the character acts weird when they're above moving platforms

the timer doesn't reset when restarting a level but I guess that's a minor issue

still, I've checked out your other games and I see you're playing around making stuff and that's always nice to see (btw I've seen that the timer issue is also present in your other game, "hot summer day" xd)

good luck m8!

Developer(+1)

the timer issue was intentional because after you beat all of the levels it show your score

also thanks for playing some of my games

Good game! I got lost on level 2 and the sides of the platform killing the player was really annoying. If there was a way to indicate that (like putting spikes on the sides of the platforms) it would be a lot better.

Developer(+1)

sorry to hear that. thanks for playing

Nice idea, fun game.

I have a few issues :

- I don't think hitting the side of a platform should kill the player, in the 2nd level it's very easy to die when trying to go fast.

- In the second level once I'm at the top (after 5-6 platforms maybe) I don't see where the next one is and I get killed. Why don't you show all the platform from the start?

- No sound? I know it's a 48h game but to me sounds are very important.

Developer

I made the game in 8-12 hours sorry

and gdevelop is not that good with 3d (so am I not good) so I couldn't make it fixed

some times when platesting the player would float up to space.

but thanks for playing
